Y/N stood confidently next to the towering U.A. building, the very same structure that had captured her imagination just a few months ago. Now, this grand edifice was her school, and she couldn't contain her excitement about exploring what U.A. had to offer and utilizing her quirk for the greater good. She'd been in touch with Hagakure, who barely scraped through the entrance exam with 24 points, thanks to her rigorous combat training.

She sported her school uniform, a button-up shirt with a red tie and a green cardigan. Y/N had chosen to wear trousers over the skirt, prioritizing comfort. As she scanned the surroundings, she was determined to find her designated classroom, 1-A, as mentioned in her acceptance letter. However, the school's enormous size baffled her momentarily.

"Hmm, the letter said I was in 1-A, but where is it?" Y/N thought, looking around intently. Her pace quickened as she grew more eager to reach her destination, hoping to avoid being late."This is going to be awkward, I can tell already. I just hope Hagakure is in the same class as me. Not another experience of being an outsider," she muttered to herself. Despite her attempt at self-assurance, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of anxiety. Her inner dialogue continued,

"Stupid hand, stop shaking, idiot. It's going to be fine. Who cares if they ignore you? It's not a problem. You're used to it already, so just stop acting helpless."

With a reluctant push, Y/N finally opened the classroom door, only to be greeted by a somewhat unsettling scene. Most of her classmates had already formed groups on the very first day."What? Did your middle school shove a stick up your ass?" a familiar voice teased. She instantly recognized it and turned to see him, her eyes widening in surprise. She never imagined he'd be in her class. Bakugo's presence was unexpected and somewhat daunting.

"Hey, I was also surprised to find out you were in my class. Can I know your name? I'm Y/N L/N," she inquired, trying to maintain a casual tone, well aware of Bakugo's temper.

"Katsuki Bakugo. And don't you dare try to surpass me. I'll be the number one hero, and I'll do it all by myself, without anybody's help," Bakugo declared, exuding pride and determination. Y/N couldn't help but observe his prideful demeanor, his reluctance to seek assistance, and a hint of anger simmering beneath the surface.

"Oh, don't worry. I wouldn't dream of trying to surpass you. But if you try to surpass me, be prepared. Just a friendly warning," Y/N responded cheerfully, attempting to make Bakugo feel more comfortable in their class. She knew that provoking him could lead to trouble, and she had no intention of facing his wrath so soon.

"Trying to be all scary and shit. Dumbass," Bakugo muttered, turning away from Y/N. She decided to leave him be for the moment and proceeded to greet her best friend."Toru-Chan! I can't believe we're in the same class! Aren't you excited to spend three years at high school together?" Y/N exclaimed with genuine enthusiasm as she embraced her best friend in a warm hug.

"Y/N-Chan! I feel the same! I'm so glad we'll be spending three years together," Hagakure agreed, returning the hug with invisible arms.

"L/N-San? Thank you for helping me the other day at the entrance exam!" Y/N reluctantly broke the hug to acknowledge Uraraka, who had approached them. Her eyes widened yet again at the realization that Uraraka was also in her class.

"Oh, hey, Uraraka-San! It wasn't a problem at all! I didn't know you were also in my class," Y/N replied sincerely and happily.

"Deku-kun is also in this class! Isn't it kind of crazy how all three of us wound up in the same class together?" Uraraka mused rhetorically, though she couldn't help but wonder if it was intentional.

"Deku? Oh, you mean Midoriya-kun! I hope he's alright now. I was feeling a bit worried since he broke almost all his bones," Y/N confessed, her voice laced with concern.

"Don't worry; he's okay now. I just saw him, and he looked perfectly fine. If you want to talk to him, he's sitting over there," Uraraka pointed to a seat where a boy with distinctive forest-green hair sat, staring off into space. Y/N began her walk toward Midoriya, contemplating what to say during the brief interaction.

"Midoriya-Kun?" Y/N called out, causing him to turn and acknowledge her presence with a smile. She couldn't help but find him utterly adorable.

"Are your legs and arm feeling better now? I felt really worried, you know?" Y/N frowned, her worry evident.

"Oh, I'm sorry to worry you, L/N-San. I'm okay, though. Recovery Girl healed me," Midoriya reassured her.

"I would've been able to heal you, but it would've made me knocked out for at least about a week and a half. So, I'm sorry that I went to Uraraka and healed her instead of you," she explained, bowing frantically. Midoriya tried to stop her from bowing, insisting it was unnecessary.

"No, it's alright. It would've taken a lot of energy out of you. I would much rather have Recovery Girl tend to my injuries than to have you be asleep for a week and a half because of me. Oh, wait, now I feel like I'm talking bad about Recovery Girl. Recovery Girl's quirk is based on healing, but I don't think yours is, which is why it takes a lot of energy out of you to heal difficult injuries or even simple ones. At the Sludge Villain attack, you..." Midoriya mumbled, trying to provide reassurance.

Y/N was in awe of how adorable Midoriya was but was quickly interrupted by Bakugo's outburst.

"OI, NERD! QUIT MUMBLING!" he screamed, visibly annoyed at Midoriya. Startled, Midoriya flinched.

"S-Sorry, Kacchan," he stammered, and Y/N sensed there was a complex history between them. She decided to address it, assuming either traumatic experiences or a history of anger ran in Bakugo's family.

"Midoriya-Kun, can I ask a question?" she began, and Midoriya, sensing her anxiety, tensed.

"What is it, L/N-San?"

"You were close with Bakugo, right? And then something happened, so now you're afraid of him? I'm right, aren't I?" she inquired, her sharp observation taking Midoriya by surprise. His eyes widened briefly, and he knew there was no point in denying it. He nodded, understanding the depth of her perception.

"Yeah, you figured it out. It's something different for me, someone finding out so quickly," he admitted, genuinely surprised by her perceptiveness.

"I hope you understand," he added, his cheerful demeanor a facade that she didn't comment on.

"Alright then! I hope you both sort it out soon!" she exclaimed, pivoting the conversation to something lighter, her intent to make Midoriya feel better evident in her actions.
