𝟏𝟎.𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭

Jungkook sat by the window in his cozy seaside house, the sound of crashing waves providing a soothing backdrop to his thoughts.

His mind had been a whirlwind of emotions ever since Taehyung had left for the trip to Hawaii.

Jungkook had done what he had set out to do—seeking revenge, making him understand the pain he had caused—but now, a restlessness tugged at his heart.

He had spent countless nights on this very spot, watching the moonlight dance on the water's surface, wondering where Taehyung was and whether he had truly changed.

The memories of their time together, the unexpected connection they had shared, seemed to echo in the stillness of his surroundings.

One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, jungkook's phone buzzed with a message notification. He picked it up, his heart skipping a beat when he saw the sender's name: Jiminie Hyung.

Curious, he opened the message:

"Hey kook, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to talk to you about something important. Can we meet? There's something I think you should know."

Jungkook's brows furrowed in confusion. What could his friend want to discuss? he quickly typed a response:

"Of course, Hyung. I'm free tomorrow afternoon. Where should we meet?"

Within moments, older's reply came:

"Let's meet at our usual spot by the beach. Tomorrow, 4 PM. I think you'll find this conversation quite enlightening."

Younger couldn't shake off the intrigue that gnawed at him. What could Jimin possibly want to share? he couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with Taehyung.

The next day, the younger arrived at the familiar spot on the beach, the sun casting a warm glow over the sand. he spotted his friend sitting by the shore, his gaze fixed on the horizon. Jungkook approached cautiously, his heart pounding.

"Hello Jimin -ssi" he greeted, soft chuckle left his lips as he remembers his old days with his best friend, yet Jimin rolled his eyes at him.

"Nevermind"

"you wanted to talk?" Jungkook asked, his voice a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

Jimin turned to him, his expression a mix of seriousness and warmth. "Kook-ah, I've been seeing the changes in Taehyung. He's not the person he used to be, and I have you to thank for that."

Younger's  eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean?"

Jimin smiled, his eyes softening. "He sought forgiveness from me, Jungkook. He confronted his mistakes, owned up to his actions, and genuinely changed. I never thought I'd see the day, but he's trying to make amends."

Jungkook's heart wavered, a whirlwind of emotions rushing through him. Taehyung had sought forgiveness, had taken the steps toward redemption. It was a truth he hadn't expected, and it left  him conflicted.

"Why are you telling me this?" His voice was barely above a whisper.

Jimin's gaze held his, a mix of understanding and encouragement. "Because, my little one should know, I can see that he meant something to you. I can see that your heart is restless, and perhaps, it's time to follow it."

Jungkook's eyes glistened with unshed tears. he had thought revenge would be enough, that it would heal the wounds he carried. But now, faced with the knowledge that Taehyung had changed, that he had sought forgiveness, she felt a yearning he couldn't ignore.

"I don't know what to do, Hyung," Jungkook admitted, his voice breaking.

Jimin reached out, his hand gently resting on Jungkook's shoulder. "Jungkook, the heart has a way of guiding us, even when we're unsure. Maybe it's time to give both of you a chance, a chance to see what could be."

As younger looked at his Hyung, gratitude and uncertainty warred within him. he had come so far on his path of revenge, and yet, the idea of a different future beckoned to him.

"Thankyou Jungkook fir everything, you always was with me and will be and  I'll leave the decision to you, ," Jimin said softly. "Just remember, forgiveness and love have the power to heal even the deepest wounds."

With those words, Jimin left the younger by the shore, his heart heavy with newfound insight and possibilities.

As the waves lapped at the sand, Jungkook found himself facing a crossroads, a choice that could reshape his future and the destiny he had once sought to alter.
