Male Jesse and Female Jesse. Reason: Funny. I also like their voices. Male Jesse's voice sounds like Emmet's voice from The Lego Movie. Though Emmet is voiced by Chris Pratt and Male Jesse is voiced by Patton Oswalt. Though I like Female Jesse and her voice better than Male Jesse and his voice. I love those action girls that kick butt. And Female Jesse's voice shows more emotion and is calm and silky smooth and sometimes sounds kind of seductive. Sometimes it's breathy and low. Also, she shows more emotion during Reuben's death as her voice sounded teary while the male's sounded monotone. Also in Order Up! When Jesse says to Ivor "Dude, what's wrong with you?" Female Jesse says it better and funnier and with more emotion while Male Jesse sounded monotone. And when Jesse says "(The...what?)The Ever...what now?" Female Jesse says it better and funnier. And when Jesse says "(It's a chicken?)The Eversource is a chicken?" Female Jesse says it better and funnier. And when Jesse says "I'm taking charge now, and I'm going to get to the bottom of this! I want everyone separated, I'm going to talk to each suspect one by one so I can find out who's telling the truth and who's lying. I've got a whole lot of questions and I want nice, little matching answers for each and every one of them understand me?" Female Jesse said it hotter and with more emotion and when she said "Who's telling the truth" she paused before turning around and saying "And who's lying." While Male Jesse didn't pause. and when she said "I've got a whole lot of questions and I want nice, little matching answers for each and every one of them." She ended the sentence with a period before firmly saying "Understand me?" While Male Jesse didn't end the sentence with a period he just said next "Understand me?" And after Female Jesse said "Understand me?" I wish she said "Are we clear?" and Stampy Cat said in a scared tone "Yes ma'am." And when Jesse said "We walk the worlds, seeking adventure and doing good deeds." Male Jesse says it simply while Female Jesse said it with emotion. And when Jesse says "Rude!" Female Jesse says it better and with more emotion. And when Jesse says "Oh man. Those things are creepy." Female Jesse says "Creepy" in kind of a singing tone while Male Jesse just says "Creepy" regularly. And when Jesse says "(You're completely crazy!)Okay. I get it now. You are totally cuckoo." Female Jesse says it better.

Jesse:"Reuben, I thought I told you to stay put!"

Me:(About Reuben)"That pig is like a magnet!"

TorqueDawg:"That's a girl's name."

Me:"What a closed-minded attitude. It's unisex."

Me:"What a closed-minded attitude. It's unisex. It's spelled with an "I." It's short for Jessica."

Contrary to popular belief, "Jesse" is only a masculine name. The feminine version is "Jessie", a shortened version of "Jessica", while "Jesse" is a name of a completely different origin.

Jesse is the only character in Minecraft: Story Mode who can be either male or female.

Telltale left an easter egg to this when TorqueDawg states that Jesse is a boy's/girl's name, depending on the opposite gender.
