In real life, I've never liked arranged marriages.
Despite my love for arranged marriage novels, I've always despised the idea of being in one. But here I was, walking down the aisle to the man I had been forced to sacrifice my true love for. My love life was a story I let God write, and it led me here, now, clinging to the arm of my father who told me he was proud of me for doing this for our company.
My groom—the fate I dreaded more than any nightmare—extended his hand to me. After reminding myself one last time about the happiness I had to sacrifice for this, I accepted it. Letting him drag me into my inevitable, dreadful future.
But little did I know, God wasn't done writing my story yet.
