Held on a String

Your kind words grabbed me by the heart.

You pull me in everytime I see you smile.

Every time I look you in the eyes I'm afraid that you got me held on a string.

Everytime I look at you I'm afraid to act like a fool in front of you.

I create these fantasies and everytime you look at me I'm afraid you'll know.

I feel like such a fool.

I know you'll never feel the same way.

I feel so ashamed.

I don't want to be wrapped around on a string.

If you pull, I'm gonna walk away.

If I look in your eyes, somethings gonna go wrong

Either saying something stupid or staring your lips.

The touch of your skin guiding my hand, my heart beats.

My heart yearns for interlocking your fingers into mine.

Sometimes I just want to look into your eyes and get lost in them.
