Shopping

THE NEXT DAY

THEO'S POV:

The next day, I decided to go out with Crystal this time, Sophia in the back of the car, cause she didn't manage to get any shopping done with Amy interrupting. Sometime soon, I'm going to confront her. I don't know who she thinks she is, jumping onto my wife like that. She seriously needs help, in my opinion.

Crystal drives us all in her car for the first time. She has been so happy ever since she got it and she's been ranting about it a lot. It makes me happy seeing her so happy. Her smile is the best. She still has a couple scratches on her arm from yesterday and she also still has a black eye. We ended up reporting Amy to the police for that for assault. We're not quite sure what happened to her afterwards, but the police told us to let them deal with it.

Crystal turns into the car park and she parks her car neatly. She's pretty good at driving considering she lost her drivers licence so long ago due to Connor. She clears her throat as she opens the back car door and starts to help Sophia out. I get out too, the leaves crunching beneath my feet. It was autumn and it was very pretty. Halloween was also coming up soon, so we wanted to maybe see if Toby could look after Sophia, meanwhile, us adults, as stupid as we are, try and trick or treat. Only at friends houses though, as we don't want to be seen as weirdos amongst our neighbours.

Sophia is put into her pram and take hold of it as Crystal shoved her hands in her pockets. She looks at me. Her blind eye is half closed but I don't think it makes a difference to her. "You coming?" she asks me as she starts walking forward to the entrance. I nod and chuckle a little as Sophia just looks around confusingly.

Crystal grabs a trolley and we begin our shopping. To the fruit and vegetables first!

HALF AN HOUR LATER

CRYSTAL'S POV:

After a while of shopping, Sophia started whining so we decided to hurry up. We got back to the car 10 minutes later and we packed the boot. We also bought Sophia a little Ladybug figure to add to her collection so it'd keep her happy.

I look at Theo and he's buckling his dear belt. I smile at him warmly. He looks back at me. "What?" he says, laughing awkwardly.

I shake my head. "Nothing, you just look cute." I reply. He laughs.

I turn the keys and the engine wakes up. I start backing out of the parking space and get out of Tescos.

"I feel old now, you know." he tells me. I look at him for a second and raise an eyebrow as I take quite a sharp turn.
"You're only 24, my love."
"Exactly! Isn't it weird to think we've been together for 6 years already?!"

He makes a shocked face and it makes me laugh. Sophia tends to join in at some points even though she doesn't really know what we're laughing about. Theo turns around and makes a bunch of silly faces as I continue driving and turn some music on for us all to listen to. I had loads of songs on my bluetooth and I could connect it to the car so it was a win win.

I sing loudly and bop my head to the music as I continue to drive. Theo doesn't know the words so he just taps his foot. Come to think of it, it is weird how we've already been together for 6 years. Then again, it was 6 years of pure enjoyment and love. I don't think I could have found anyone better for me.
