Chapter 1: Winter is coming...

Winter of year 794... The roofs of the houses back at Magnolia were covered in thick sheets of snow. It's just another magical Christmas for the ever-so notorious guild, Fairy Tail.

Lucy's POV

                I woke up first thing in the morning, only to be greeted by the falling snow outside my window. I got up my bed and did my usual morning routines...

               

~Time skip of 20 minutes~

               

I got dressed in my navy blue sweater and knee-length skirt. I took out a pair of gloves from my drawer until I heard a crash just outside my apartment.

               

"AAH! Take this popsicle!"

               

"NO! You take it! Hot head!

                I then see my two of my most trusted teammates, a raven-haired boy, Gray Fullbuster, and a salmon-haired one, Natsu Dragneel. They seem to be brawling again. But that makes me ask the question, "Why are they fighting so close to my apartment?"

                "Hey guys! Can you two quit it! The landlady might get furious!" I yelled as I waved at them through the window.

                "Lucy!" they both say in unison.

                "Why are you two fighting under the snow? In a matter of fact, why are you guys fighting so close to my apartment?" I asked them as I planted my elbow on the window frame, and resting my head on my hand.

                They quickly broke out from each other's grasp and looked up to me.

                "Natsu wants to—" Gray was cut off by a hand covering his mouth.

                "We were hoping if you could help us decorate the guild this season. Although it is still weeks from Christmas day..." Natsu said to me while releasing Gray and crossing his arms.

                "Ok... Sure! See you guys later back at the guild!" I waved at them with a smile on my face.

                "See ya!" both of them bid my goodbye as they go to separate ways.

Natsu's POV

                "See ya!" we both said to her, waving goodbye. Gray and I then went to our separate ways.

                Hmmm... Maybe I should get something to eat. I then happily trot in the snow towards where my nose will take me. Foooood...

~Time skip of one hour~

                I was heading towards the guild. On my way, I picked up some of this "mistletoe" thing Mira and the others keep on talking about. I honestly don't know what these things are for.

                I then enter the guild, only to be greeted by Lucy, and Erza, who seemed to have gotten started on decorating.

                "Better start working". I then start hanging up the decorations given to me by Mirajane. I then remember something I have brought for the guild.

                "Mira! Where should I put these things? I got them for the guild you see." I say to her while taking out the mistletoes from my jacket.

                "Oh goodie! Kindly put them just above the guild door Natsu." she said to me while making an evil smirk. She must be planning something...

~Time skip of 3 hours~

Lucy's POV

                "Ok guys! You can go home now!" A certain silver-haired woman announced to us.

                "Ok Mira! Let me just finish this bit!" I said to her as I try to pin the ribbons on the wall. My chair suddenly wobbled, forcing me to lose my balance and topple over. I fell down my stand, but felt no impact. Turns out I was caught by my close friend, Natsu. He did carry my bridal style, which made me blush a bit, but then I smiled at him.

                 "Be careful next time Luce." he said to me smirking. He then set me down and helped me pin the ribbon.

                All of the others went home, leaving me and a sleepy Natsu. This makes me wonder... Where is Happy?

 Happy's POV

*munch munch munch*

"FISH IS THE BEST!"
