Arriving at the cafeteria, they were neither too early nor too late. Most athletes were already eating or finishing their meals, so there weren't many people around.

When Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang reached the stairwell to the second floor of the cafeteria, the aroma of the third-floor meals wafted over. At this point, the aroma had mostly dissipated, but the lingering scent still invigorated them.

Hey, was the aroma coming from the third floor really that enticing?

As Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang arrived at the entrance to the kitchen on the third floor, they saw Sun Xiangdong and were ushered inside.

The kitchen wasn't a proper dining area. It only had a few tables. Chefs from the first and second floors had already come to the third floor, joining in the camaraderie while enjoying Su Bai's dishes. Occasionally, they would praise one of today's dishes for its exceptional flavor.

Once Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang entered, the kitchen became a bit crowded, but they didn't mind. As seasoned foodies, they had eaten at all sorts of dirty and shabby places just for good food. As long as the chef's skills were truly excellent and the food was genuinely delicious, they wouldn't really care about the dining environment.

Before Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang came, Sun Xiangdong had informed Su Bai about the situation. Su Bai guessed that this matter had something to do with the Dou family, but he hadn't expected that the influence of the Dou family would be so significant.

After Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang entered the kitchen, they greeted Su Bai with a smile. They had known from Dou Er that Su Bai was the apprentice of their sister's husband's master. This indicated that Su Bai was quite young. However, upon meeting Su Bai in person, they realized that he looked even younger.

This kid seemed gentle and refined. There was no way to tell that he was a top-notch chef or a coach just by looking at him.

However, the scent that wafted through the air indicated that this young man named Su Bai was indeed extraordinary.

When the dishes were placed in front of Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang, they expressed their gratitude and immediately began eating. Just as Sun Xiangdong had told them, these were cafeteria-style dishes cooked by Su Bai in large pots. There wasn't much to pick and choose from, but the meal consisted of three dishes and a soup, which was definitely not bad.

In front of them were celery beef soup, yellow croaker-braised tofu, stir-fried beef with king oyster mushrooms, and stir-fried lotus root slices. It was clear that most of these dishes were designed to meet the nutritional needs of the athletes. There were no heavily flavored dishes. The emphasis was on nutrition and digestibility, without burdening the body.

However, no one could say that these dishes only had those advantages. For foodies like Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang, these dishes with their colors, aromas, and flavors were undoubtedly the definition of deliciousness.

The celery beef soup was silky on the palate, offering both the refreshing fragrance of celery and the tenderness of the beef. The slightly tangy soup was mouthwatering and appetizing. The key to the yellow croaker-braised tofu was its tender and fragrant combination. Both the yellow croaker and tofu were well-flavored and tender. The stewed broth was evenly absorbed, providing a full and satisfying taste. Taking a bite of tofu followed by a forkful of delicious fish meat, one couldn't help but feel content.

If Qian Desheng and Li Ruixiang had to nitpick, they would say that the only thing missing was a glass of wine. Such delicacies, if paired with a sip of mellow rice wine, would be even more delightful!
