You and I on the hill.

"Cook, I think I like you." I gasp softly, feeling my cigarette slip out of my mouth as I gape at him, my eyes wide as I try to process things fast enough. His face suddenly flushed a light pink as he flails his arms around, trying to make sense of it all. "J-just forget it, alright?! I didn't like the kiss with Hiyori, so just take her! I don't plan on getting romantic or anything.. or even if I had a chance with you, I probably wouldn't-"

My body starts to move on its own as my heart races in my chest, seeing my arms reach over to the back of his head as I pull myself forward and kiss him passionately on the lips. My guard is down and I feel vulnerable around him now, the sun shining down on us as I feel his lips kiss mine back. I smile slightly under the kiss, breathing more shallow as I feel his  own against my skin, my face brightening to a deeper red.

"I was about to say I wouldn't have been able.. to feel your affection anyways.. but.." He parts our lips as I feel his brush over mine softly, ruffling his hair while grinning more widely, the sun's rays on our faces as my eyes glow in the light. "You're an idiot, you know..?" I snicker along with him, my grip loosening as I lean on his shoulder now, the waves in the waters more relaxing and relieving.

He ruffles my own hair and ruins the perfection of it, rolling my eyes as I try to fix it. However, my bangs get brushed to the side and I look to him in surprise as our eyes are still locked together with a gaze of longing. I blush more profusely after feeling the wind properly blow on my face now, closing my eyes tightly as I hear his light giggle. "You look better without your bangs, you moron.."

I nudge him to the left lightly, making him tumble over as I cross my arms and look to the ocean again, rolling my eyes. "Don't tease me like that.." I say slowly, knowing that he's probably just being a tease. He laughs at my grumpy reaction and shoves me to my right as well, holding my hand before I can tumble over. "I'm not! Your bangs ruined the perfection of your face.."

He responds to my reply with a smirk, his eyebrows furrowing as he moves his hand to touch mine. "Damn, your eyebrows face one way? Such a weird curly-brow.." I groan at his comment, pushing him away as I fix my bangs and put it over my eye again, covering it as always. He sighs at my actions and frowns at me, his arms crossed and looking at me sternly.

"What? I don't like my bangs out of the way.. it's unusual now." I tell him while grabbing another cigarette to smoke, fixing my hair slightly by ruffling it a bit. All of a sudden, he jumps on top of me as we roll on the grassy hill, a huge grin curving on my lips as I try to push him off; my hair only getting messier. "Moss-juro.." I annunciate each syllable, seeing his face turn pale and look to me ghost white with his jaw dropped.

"Shut up, brow-goro." He named back, making me snicker as he says that, our bodies still rolling down the hill. I notice him giving a small smile to me as well as we finally reach the bottom, my arms wrapped around him as we're both panting and trying to catch out breath. "Damn you.." I tell him shortly, moving my free hand to fix my messy hair and moving my bangs to the side again.

He looks to my eyes and eyebrow with a soft blush as I grin widely at him from ear-to-ear. We both sit up as he still has his arms around my waist, not wanting to leave his side soon enough. I sigh as I poke his face, chuckling at the amusement we're having together despite always bickering and fighting. He takes my hand and holds it close to his chest as we look at each other with a sense of affection and care.

Suddenly, I jump up slightly when hearing quiet rustling in the back — only to see a beautiful woman appear amongst us as we're hugging. "Zoro-juro?.." She mumbles under her breath, seeing her fists clenching as my eyes widen in surprise. The wind blows my bangs back over my eye as I stare at her in guilt, then glancing back to Zoro who doesn't seem to want to talk to her. I frown at him and push him closer to her so they can have their privacy and talk things out.

"Hiyori, I don't like women." He summarized to her, seeing her jaw dropped as she pouts at him, cheeks puffed. She wipes her tears as they roll down her cheek, eyes puffy as her vision is blurred. "I know that! You could've just told me.. I thought we had something, Zoro-juro.." Hiyori whispers quietly to him, making me sit up and listen closely to them, my eyes closed as I can feel the tension around them.

Zoro shakes his head to her with his eye in disbelief, other arm rubbing the back of his neck. I notice his nervous sweat as he brushes her hair back and looks at her seriously, his voice low as he keeps the conversation quiet. I scoot over to them a little more I. desperation to hear the worries of both beloved Hiyori and Moss-juro.

They continue speaking to each other as he wipes her tears away and glances to me for a second in nervousness, unsure of how to handle Hiyori's situation; only giving him a thumbs up in reply. He groans at my response and his full attention is back to the overflowing mess Hiyori's in. Her eyes are baggy and watery with her tears dried and leaving dark marks on her cheeks; her makeup completely ruined and her cheeks still puffed as she pouts with a soft blush and jealousy burning inside her.

I stare at her and feel my cheeks begin to flush, my heart rate increasing until seeing Zoro look towards me as well. There's an awkward tension surrounding us as they keep staring at me, only looking back at the both of them with a huge blush across my cheeks. I hesitantly walk forwards to meet the both of them, my hand on Zoro's shoulder as I nod to him in reassurance.

She wipes her tears away as it's still marked on her cheeks, her eyes sagging as she calms down and lets go of Zoro's hand. Zoro glanced at Hiyori for a moment and sighed, smiling softly at her once more before watching her stride away into the distance, a cold yet passionate radiance every time she stomped.

Zoro only wanted me.
