His ignorance.

Before you start reading, I'd like to inform you that everything in this chapter goes fast. Zoro confesses to Sanji in a single chapter, rather than building up their relationship. If this isn't your forte, please read the other chapters <3!

Zoro's POV

Post-Fishman Island

I've been asleep ever since noon yet my stomach never growled louder than Luffy's. "Sanji!! Where's the food?!" He shouted at the door that remained shut. After defeating that weird shark guy, we've had our first victory feast in Fishman Island and that sure was entertaining. Especially their booze. Suddenly, while I was fantasizing about the booze that the fishmen made, Luffy punched the door opened which definitely triggered Franky. He sprinted up the stairs and picked up his tools while shouting at our idiot captain.

"SANJI!" He called while slowly walking into the room. Everyone else began to open their doors as they all stared at the open room with perplexed faces. The cyborg raised his glasses while jolting forwards in front of the open door, his face immediately switching from furious to surprise. Those two were making such a fuss so I decided to start up, putting my hand over my mouth as I yawned. "Now what's happening her—" I hesitated upon seeing the motionless cook on the ground with a spatula laying beside him. Luffy wrapped his arms around him and sprung himself onto the ship's mass, yelling Chopper's name for help. Once he finally heard, he jerked the door open and made his way to the grassy area in the middle of our ship.

"I can take it from here, Luffy!" The reindeer demanded while transforming into his human form. Our captain placed him gently in his arms as the doctor dashed away. 'What the hell happened?' I thought as my heart sunk into my stomach and my throat started to dry up. I was stunned. It's been a while since I've last seen him knocked out like that. "Luffy, what happened?" I asked politely, with a slight bit of concern in the question. He shrugged at me while putting on his straw hat. "Whoever beat Sanji like that can't have their asses not kicked." He assumed with a deadly glare filling his eyes shortly after. I slightly lifted my sword out with my thumb, staring at the doctor's closed door. 'He isn't easily defeated; there must've been something wrong with him.' I imagined.

The aggravated sea witch paced herself in front of Chopper's door. "Sea witch, what're you doing?" She ignored the question and massaged her forehead, leaning against the wall. Just then, a word can be heard from Brook who observed the horizon. "Everyone.." He whispered with his jaw dropped to his scarf. "That's why, damn it!!" She roared, pointing towards the foggy sea. We turned to them at the same time as we saw multiple marine ships surrounding us. This had happened to us twice yet in those times, they've all been mere illusions. On top of that, in those times, we actually had a chef to help kick ass.

Out of nowhere, a battleship fired onto the side of our ship, making it fly to the other side. I took out my swords and placed one in my mouth, grinning at the ships blocking our path. "Franky!" Nami called with her fists clenched and gripped onto the blue, metallic rod. "Got it!" He confirmed while dashing towards the wheel and making a hard right. We all fell to the railing of the boat as it continued to shake from the amount of blows being hit. I ran up to the cannonballs with the most of them and slashed them all up, watching them explode in the sky.

Our captain went on a rampage upon knowing that Sanji might've been beaten up by a marine. He let out all his rage on the soldiers, stomping them onto the ground or knocking them onto the wall. I could feel his anger because the vibe around the ship changed and everyone was quiet while watching him. He's not usually as aggressive to marine soldiers but he seemed desperate to avenge his crew mate. I hopped onto a boat and killed them all with one swing of a sword; saying the words "Dragon Twister" while at it. Everyone began to hop onto separate boats that continued to inch closer and closer to us.
