"What promise?" She said shortly, her voice filled with genuine confusion as I lower my head to match eye contact with her. I brush her hair back after finishing my own rice ball, still chewing on it as I walk us back into the dojo again. "Young man, you've made quite a ruckus. Sit down, we have a guest." He gestures towards the mats beside him before noticing Sanji's motionless and pale body.

I stare at in disbelief before finally processing things fast enough to try and reach out for him, yelling out insults. "OI!! WAKE UP ALREADY, YOU BASTARD!! YOU PROMISED ME, GODDAMN IT!!" I insult him harshly, wanting him to wake up already as I'm being held back by the old man watching over Otama. I manage to get myself out as he moves to cover her ears, scowling as I grip onto Sanji's bandages tightly.

I'm swearing bullets to Sanji, shaking him awake as it looks as though I'm killing him even more, my hand sliding down to hold Sanji's after seeing no progress. I wrap my pinkie with his and close my eyes as I hug him tightly, still mumbling in his ear to wake up, only to suddenly feel a tingle on my finger. I look down to see his finger wrapped around mine before hugging back so restrictively again.

"You fucking idiot! You're so fucking stupid!!" I shout at him even after being so close to his ear, squeezing his hand as I feel him smile softly on my shoulder. "Why you little.." He chuckles, gripping onto my robe tightly and burying his head in it, sobbing softly. I feel his tears hitting my robe and soaking it slightly, sighing and putting my hand on his head, patting him slowly as I try to relax him.

The old man removes his hands on Otama after seeing her well up with tears, thinking she's frightened and starts to flail his arms around. "No, no, no! It's okay, you didn't hear it, oka-", he immediately stops as Otama puts her own hand on his mouth, "Big brother Zoro.. big brother Sanji almost died when we found him. He almost drowned but saved himself, and you pirates defeated all of Kaido's men! Some are in Udon, some in alliances with us now!"

I stare at the little girl speechless, holding Sanji close to me before grinning at her slightly, my hand still in his as I turn around to look at her. "Yeah, this guy does some stupid things.." I say this with a following laughter, my back leaning on Sanji's now as I close my eyes happily. "YOU'RE THE IDIOT WHO GRIEVED FOR ME BEFORE I DIED, DUMBASS!!!"

I scowl at him, his words cutting deep inside me as I keep hugging tightly, my arms wrapped around him with my eyes closed. I relax a bit more in his arms enjoying the comfort and touch from him, although now wanting to show enjoyment on my face. We stay like that for a few moments as an awkward silence fills the air.

"Hey you two, shouldn't you be at the palace with your friends?" The old man spoke to us suddenly, breaking the silence as I back off Sanji out of embarrassment. I rub the back of my neck and nod slowly, breathing shallow as I sit beside Sanji. He sighs and looks at the both of us more sternly, arms tucked as he sits up straight.

"How about some stew? Otama, can you go get them some food? Here's the money." He tells Otama, lending her a few coins to buy a stew. She nodded and smiled gleefully at us, hands on her hip as if she was a superhero, before sprinting out the doors with her hand clenching on the coins tightly. "Careful, Otama!!" He shouts cautiously from behind before her figure completely disappears into the forest.

I fall back against the small table in front of me, Sanji sat upright in his cushions as he glances at me occasionally. I glance back at him, our eyes meeting as I look into his with longing and concern for him, gripping onto the table tightly and shaking it. The old man watches as I shake the table violently, causing him to jolt up and stop it from shaking with his own hands, fighting back from my own.

He kneels behind me and manages to steady the table after I quickly notice he's been behind me, glancing at the old man for a moment before averting my gaze back to Sanji, his body wrapped in bandages. "Hey cook, do you still need me to kill you?" I tease with a slight grin, my hand reaching for my swords on the ground. He growls at me, clutching his chest after feeling a slight pain and slumping down again.

"Shut the hell up, bastard! Does it look like I lost my mind?!" He frowns at me, his voice filled with irritation as he pushes the blanket off him. "Oh you want to fight me now, do you idiot?!" I stand up as I raise my swords, pointing at him and looking down with fury. He stands up as well, hair still messy and tangled as he puts up his sleeves and storms towards me, stomps echoing in the silent room.

I charge at him and put my face to his, grinning slightly when his hair flies back and he raises his leg to kick me. I manage to dodge it as his chest is pressed against my sword, trying to fight back while still growling at my stupidness. I move my sword behind his back as we're both now so close to each other, his nose barely brushing over mine as he stops struggling now, his face relaxing and his leg still raised on my shoulder.

"Hey, you two.." The old man says wearily, letting out a soft sigh in seeing us arguing, our heads whipping towards him. "Eh?!" We both shout at him repulsively, immediately staring back and forth from each other and him. I pull him closer with his chest against my swords, seeing him not resist as much anymore but is still clenching his fists and huffing in frustration.

I stare at his lips and then his eyes, seeing his eyebrow furrow and twitch, still grinning at him ear-to-ear, enjoying the tension and the vibe from him and I. As the old man continues staring at us in shock and a mixture of disbelief, I lean even closer as Sanji rests his leg on my shoulder now and closes his own eyes. "Pfft, you bastard.." I stifle a laugh, seeing his lips moist and closing my own eyes, leaning even closer until are faces are inches apart.

I press my body against my own swords, still gripping onto it more tightly as I keep you in place with my swords and kiss you softly. My breath still reeks of sake, making him flinch slightly, only to melt into the kiss and press his against mine more deeply. I keep smiling in the kiss, not being able to control my happiness as I lower my swords and drop them abruptly, gripping your tie and pulling it towards me.

"I don't even like you, shitty moss-head.."
