Previously on MINE:
"It- it was just a mosquito," I say almost breathlessly.
He doesn't seem to care about it anymore since he's now fully focused on me. His gaze drops to my lips and he leans in slightly.
I can hear my heartbeat in my ears and all the sounds around us are drowning out.
He stops just a few inches away from my face.
And then it all happens at once.

I reach out with my hand and slap the mosquito against his forehead and he groans as he lets go of me and steps back.
"Got it," I say sheepishly, watching as he holds a hand to his head and looks at me in awe "Hopefully that won't bruise"
"What..." he starts in confusion
"So where are we going anyway" I start walking away from him, trying to hide the flush in my cheeks.
Did he just try to kiss me? I was right, he definitely is insane.
I hear footsteps behind me as Blake falls back into step with me. He doesn't say anything as he redirects me on the path silently. I don't dare look at him but I can see him throwing looks at me from the corner of my eye.
We suddenly step into a huge compound-like area. There are 6 houses arranged in a Circle with a fountain in the centre. The area is big enough to be a football field to accommodate the large houses comfortably. They're all similarly built to other houses I've seen here, slightly bigger and they have another level added, they also exude a sense of power.
I've never been to this part of the pack lands so I look around curiously. The houses seemed to be placed closer to the lake on the far edge of the area. There weren't many patrols here either.
Each house had a Greek symbol over it. Alpha, Omega, Beta. And then the other with a symbol that seemed to represent something? Two crossed arrows, Warrior Maybe? A graduation hat, maybe an Advisor or Scholar. And the Other one would be a doctor, I guess.
"I'm guessing this where Pack leaders stay huh?" I ask, more to myself but Blake still answers
"Yeah, there are a few other houses close by for relatives of pack leaders too" he answers
I don't say anything else as we stand awkwardly
"Uh... so that's my family's home," He says, pointing to the biggest house near the centre with the Alpha symbol on the door.
