Final Chapter - Broken Promise

THIS IS NOT THE LAST

Seasons change drastically fast aren't they? Without even noticing two years have already gone by and we are already on our last year- to be more specific, our last month in high school and we will be graduating next week.

Yes, its already been two years since Naruto and I become a couple... the best two years of my life so far. He do have some shortcomings though, but it is always fun to learn something new about your partner right? I find it exciting. Naruto showed and guided me in building my confidence once again, remember my trauma? I already overcome those-with his help of course, because I know that he will always be there for me no matter what ... I guess love do really moves in mysterious ways.

Naruto never hid a secret from me; I can always see through his eyes. He tells me everything that keeps his mind busy, from what he ate last night to what brand of ramen and milk he usually buy at the convenience store. But I know I am not being fair with all of that honesty I get from him, I still haven't told him about me and father's usual discussion about college.

"Hinata"

A sudden kiss to my cheek pulled me from my deep thinking. I looked at the blonde boy before me now 18 years old, his features more manly but still have those childish grin carved on his lips, he just got his hair trimmed a week ago though he said it's been too messy and he can't stand it anymore and of course how can I miss those cerulean blue eyes- I still get lost whenever I look at them, plus he is also much taller now in 190cm, our height difference is almost 1 foot but he keeps on insisting that he likes my height because it is cute, I know he is just bluffing so that I won't pity myself for not being tall enough like Sakura chan and Ino chan.

"Naruto kun, you're done with your assessment interview?" I asked as I scanned my boyfriend's face once more. We are currently at the school's roof top and the wind keeps on blowing my hair so I occasionally remove some hair strands off my face.

"Yup," he gave me a big smile flashing his pearly whites while giving a thumb's up.

"So how was it?" I asked, he looked at me and smiled as he carefully removes some strands of hair away from my face cupping my cheeks afterwards.

"Just like what we've planned, Tokyo University" he said as he lowered his face a little and gave a light kiss on my lips.

I blushed at his sudden gesture.

"Naruto kun" I hissed and he laughed in returned.

"I so love to see you blush, make me want to kiss you more dattebayou!" he teased making me more flustered.

"Naruto kun-" I sneered as I felt my face getting hotter than normal.

Its true that the both of us decided to go to Tokyo University for college since Naruto shall be going back there after graduation.

But what Naruto does not know is that father has something in mind and I have been battling with his plan for almost two years now.

"Hinata?.. is there something troubling you? ... c'mon tell me" Naruto asked when he noticed my silence.

"Uhmm... I- I am just thinking about something but its not that big to worry about... Let's just go home now Naruto kun"

"Yosh!" he replied grabbing my hand.

"Naruto kun come inside.. have a drink first" I asked him as we reached our front gate.

"Sure..." he smiled but his smile suddenly faded when he noticed someone's presence at the top of the steps.
