~Chapter 3 - Dinner~

Y/N slowly woke from her nap and looked at clock on the nightstand. It took her brain a few seconds to process what time it was since it was an old clock but she eventually got that it was 10 minutes till dinner. She hopped out of bed and grabbed the dress that Camilo said Mirabel lent her. She quickly changed out of her old clothes, putting them on the bed and slipping the dress on. She looked in the mirror and did a small twirl. She figured this could work, at least she'd look more normal.

She headed downstairs and spotted Antonio playing with some of his animals. She walked over and smiled softly.

Y/N: "Hey Antonio. Having fun?"

He nodded excitedly and petted his animals' head again. Y/N nodded and walked off, smiling to herself. She spotted Camilo doing some chores off in the distance. She sighed, gazing at the sight in awe. She had always admired the boy since the movie came out, always turning pink at a picture of him.

After he finished the chore, he spotted her and waved. She snapped back into reality (lmao not hers- I'M SORRY I HAD TO) and waved. She tried to act natural, walking away and sighing in relief that he didn't catch her staring. But, she heard him call her name and she turned around.

C: "Hey! Wanna chat? I finished all my chores and dinner is in a few."

She nodded and they started to walk, chatting and joking around. Dolores heard the whole thing, smiling to herself and smirking internally. From the moment she heard Camilo and Y/N first talking, she placed a bet with Mirabel and Bruno. She thought they'd get together, but Mira and Bruno thought otherwise.

Finally, it was dinner. Y/N sat next to Mirabel, and Camilo sat diagonally from her. Dinner was normal, until Abuela called an announcement. Everyone's heads turned to her as she spoke.

A: "So, Y/N. I've been informed you will be staying in Casita with everyone for a while."

Then, everyone's heads turned to Y/N as she gulped nervously from all the attention.

Y/N: "Yes, senora."

Abuela smiled, something Y/N thought the old bitch wouldn't do. (DON'T GET MAD I HAD TO LOL)

A: "Wonderful! New company would be lovely in La Casa Madrigal. And, call me Abuela. I hope you've made a few acquaintances."

Y/N nervously nodded, still a bit panicked because of all the eyes on her.

Y/N: "Yes, I have. Camilo and Mirabel have been friendly."

Camilo smiled a little at this, still looking at her. Abuela nodded.

A: "Good."

Then, everyone resumed dinner like normal, Y/N and Mirabel chatting more. Camilo kept stealing glances at Y/N, hoping he could talk to her more. Dolores took notice of this and nudged him a little.

D: "Hermano, you like her?"

He gasped a little, shaking his head and whispering so Y/N couldn't hear him.

C: "No! I just.. think she's interesting, and want her to feel welcome."

Dolores just shrugged and secretly smirked, going back to her food. Camilo really didn't understand his interest in being close to her, he just felt different around her. He shrugged it off as he wanted to know the new person around town more and continued eating.
