Lydia was running late. Even with the best reserved parking spot in the back lot and the newest Tesla model that she drove well past the speed limit, she still managed to run late to every op. Lydia burst through the door and practically threw her purse at the security guard who was caught off guard, ran through the metal detectors and grabbed her bag back.

She dashed straight to the elevator to report to Director Fury's office. She passed by several people she knew who nodded their heads in respect to her. She tried her best to not sound out of breath but nodded and smiled, saying a quick hi as she passed. The elevator door was just about to close but a lovely woman with a scowl on her face pressed the shut button.

Lydia sighed, not in the mood to take ninety flights of stairs. She had already been on her stair master earlier for over an hour plus her morning workout routine, plus the usual sparring session with Natasha. After another few minutes of awkwardly standing and smiling to random agents that walked by, the elevator finally arrived.

"Director Fury's office." Lydia panted, even after waiting for that long her tiredness managed to catch up.

"Request incomplete. Director Fury must not be disturbed." Lydia rolled her eyes, not wanting to even know what that meant.

"Level 9 override: Stark, Lydia L."

"Confirmed." The elevator doors shut and she headed up to Fury's office. Lydia smiled for a moment, remembering the day she filed to have her name changed in the SHIELD database. It was just a few months after Lydia had moved into Stark mansion with Tony and Pepper. She went home that day to a big party that had her full name on it: Lydia Lilac Stark. She almost cried. Before Lydia knew it, the elevator dinged and doors swooshed open.

"Agent Stark? This requires your signature." Didn't even make it out of the elevator before she was being hounded. Lydia sighed, taking off Natasha's black leather jacket she still hasn't given back while leaning in closer to the young man holding a tablet. Lydia furrowed her eyebrows at the multiple pages he wanted her to read in the middle of the hall.

"Okay, summarize or I'm not signing." The man seemed taken aback that she didn't jump at the chance to read the 22 page summary of the newest weapons manuscript forms.

"Uh... It—it's basically just, um, having you confirm the address to send the latest designs of SHIELD tech for you to review and give the okay to mass manufacture—"

"Is it the class I confirmed last month?" She asked. She recognized it wasn't his job to know, but the less reading she had to do the less of a headache she'd have later.
