I silently watched as Kafka enchanted the elevator security staff with her Spirit Whisper
"The way is clear now. Let's go" Kafka said with her sweet smile
"Why do you always smile like this?" I asked her as we both entered the elevator
"Let's just say, I like it" Kafka chuckled "Remind me, how do you see with that blindfold of yours?"
"I told you many times before, I can see past the blindfold. It's just a barrier that prevents others from seeing my eyes and protects my eyes from to much light" I said calmly, but still with a small scoff
"Alright, sweet boy" Kafka said with a smile. This time, I didn't say anything and just sat on the floor of the elevator. I watched Kafka dance around the room, pretending to play the violin, as she was enjoying the elevator music. Her movements were graceful and in perfect sync with the tunes. I must say that this Herta has a good music taste. It was nice, until an explosion caused a breakdown from the master control system.
"Seems we came at a bad time" Kafka said with a small chuckle as she looked at Silver Wolf's screen. I got up from the floor and walked up to her
"No, no - I think you couldn't have timed it better" Silver Wolf answered "23:47:15 system time. Very punctual, Kafka, Rangi"
"Elio always tells the exact future" Kafka said with a small hum as she looked at like she knew I wanted to ask something
"What was that explosion just now? Was it also part of the script? Who did it?" I said without hesitation
"Woah, woah, calm down grandpa" I growled at the screen. I'm not that old to be called grandpa! "And yes, that is also part of the script: 23:44:59 system time: The pulses from the explosion cause a massive breakdown from the master control system. That's Antimatter Legion work. They completely invaded the space station two system hours ago"
I nodded in understanding. Looks like I will not be bored today
Kafka whistled with a small smile on her face "Alright, so do we need to fight the Legion?"
"I dunno. Elio didn't say anything about-"
"I don't care, I just want to do something!" I cut off Silver Wolf with a groan. Staying with those guys for a month and doing nothing was boring as hell.
"Be patient" Kafka chuckled as she looked at me with her sweet smile and then looked back at the screen "I got it. From now on, I will be in charge of this operation"
"Copy. Can I also have some fun? Our last few operations turned out to be pretty dull" Silver Wolf agreed as always
"I also want to have some fun! I wasn't even allowed to go on a mission before this" I grumbled.
