Hab meinen Englisch Aufsatz geschrieben. Enthält Spoiler für das Buch. Sorry dafür. Sollte es auf eurer Tbr Liste stehen, dieses Kapitel einfach skippen.

The Cruel Prince is a pretty frustrating novel about a human girl namend Jude, that witnesses her parents murder in young age and gets kidnapped to the elve kingdom, together with her Twinsister Tyrin and here elve halfsister Vivi (short for Vivian).
That's a little complicated, because their mom used to date an elve and gave birth to Vivi. But then she run away, married a human and got the Twins with him.
Her Ex Boyfriend or Husband I don't really know killed them both and kidnapped/adopted/whatever the kids.

Jude grows up in this really psychopathic kingdown, calls her parents murderer her father and dreams to become a knight in the so called "Highkings" army. I don't know why it's called Highking? Maybe he ate mushrooms and got high.
I think Jude is a little masochistic? Or she just really likes poisining herself and living with creatures that treat her like trash. Elves are very cruel and racist. Being a human in their world is like a being a Junior at his first day in high school, who got a "Kick me" Sign glued on his back by his good-for-nothing senpais.
While the Twins try to fit in, the only real Elve Sister does everything to seem as humanlike as possible. Vivi refuses to go to Elve School, she wears human clothing and she got a human Girlfriend, because she's gay as hell, but her gf doesn't know Vivi is an elve, so I think they'll have realitionship struggles in the second volume, but I don't know.
So the twins go to school without Vivi again and there we are introduced with Cardan. He's a prince. And he's cruel. The title makes sense now, huh?
Cardan and his clique are bullying the twins, but one of them is actually pretty nice. His name is Locke and in the beginning he was really cute. I shipped him and Jude for the first complete half of this book. Like, f*ck Cardan. Locke at least didn't try to drown her in a lake near the school.
But turns out - Locke is actually a walking red flag.
At a party in Lockes house, his Ex girlfriend Nymphalia (who is also a bully and a mean girl and mermaid princess or I don't really know) suddenly had a kind of wholesome talk with Jude. Because it's every mean girls habit to have at least one wholesome talk with their nemesis, which will make the reader think, that they're a better person from now on.
But Nymphalia will stick with being a bitch.
Anyway, she basically told Jude not to trust Locke, because Locke is a heartbreaker.
Jude doesn't give a damn about Nymphilias words, but turns out that mermaid b*tch was right, because Locke actually dated Tyrin, Judes Twin, and only tested Tyrins loyality by playing with Judes feeling or some bullshit like that.
Oh and beside all that love drama - Jude worked for a group of elve agents and... I don't know. She killed one of her bullies, Cardans older Brother, Balekin, killed the whole royal family, so he could be king, but then he died. Now there are only Cardan and Oak left. Oak is Judes little stepbrother, but it turns out, that Oak is actually Cardans little brother and a prince as well?
So the little guy crowned Cardan to be the next high king, even though he doesn't want to reign.
Jude hides Oak in the human world at Vivis place, till he would be ready to reign, and stayed at the royal court as the high kings first council.
I give them two months and she'll be the high queen.

So yeah.... that's it. Good book, 10/10, would read again.

Man sah Rhea die Verwandschaft zu Celina zwar an, aber rot gegen brünette machte schon eine Menge aus.
Da fällt mir ein, hat Leonas Bruder nicht auch rote Haare? Wow, Ginny und Harrys Kinder pflanzen sich echt fort.
,,Das... ist der schlechteste Aufsatz, den ich je gesehen hab'', rief sie in ihrem muttersprachigen Englisch und ich verstand sie gut genug, um ein klein wenig verletzt zu sein.
,,Rhea!", rief Celina tadelnd.
,,Was? Ich sage nur wie es ist! Komm, lass mich das überarbeiten. Ehrlich, dein englisch ist gar nicht so schlecht, aber du hast viel zu gerushed geschrieben. Zum Ende hin sind die Ereignisse nicht mal mehr chronologisch!"
Sie setzte sich also an meinen PC und begann zu tippern.
,,Deine Schwester ist äußerst reizend...", flüsterte ich Celina zu. Sie lachte.
,,Sie meint es nicht böse, aber sie ist halt ein sehr direkter Mensch.
Oh, als sie mich das erste Mal in Deutschland besucht hat, hat sie im Rewe die Scheibe von der Wursttheke betoucht und die Verkäuferin hat ihr dreimal gesagt das sie das lassen soll, aber Rhea hat sie nicht verstanden und weiter gemacht. Gott, war das peinlich."
,,Ich war sechs Jahre alt, die Frau war herbe unhöflich und du hast mich erst da weg geholt, als die Frau mich zum dritten Mal angemault hat!"
,,War es mein Job dich zu babysitten? Ich war erst elf und dass man nicht an Scheiben patscht, sollte man auch so wissen, Fräulein!"
Daraufhin streckte Rhea ihr die Zunge raus und widmete sich wieder meinem Aufsatz.

,,Jetzt heißt es zurücklehnen und Rhea machen lassen. Als Gegenleistung musst du vermutlich Stranger Things mit ihr gucken."
,,Kenn ich nicht."
,,Oh, es wird dir gefallen. Ist schön bizarr."

Über das Wortspiel konnte ich nur die Augen verdrehen. Aber wenigstens hatte ich jetzt einen guten Aufsatz.
