{Script 73} Child Encounter {Lilia x Child Listener}

Start from the beginning

Lilia: Please, those pussies got nothing against us. That's why we claimed theirs to be our campsite.

Soldier 1: Please just put them back in the village.

Lilia: No point in doing that.

Soldier 1: Why is that?

Lilia: Because they'll wander back in the woods to find me. They chose me first in the beginning. I don't know how. Other's see me as scary and intimidating. I don't look friendly.

Soldier 1: The children sees you as a hero than an enemy. You know some children can be fearless. Like this one.

Soldier 1: But beside the point. The real point is you can't take this kid with you. You can't fight and babysit at the same time. That is if you're quitting being the general.

Lilia: Are you kidding me? If I leave and handed my leadership to someone else. Every one of you will be dead. I'm not gonna abandon my job as a leader.

Soldier 1: Well there's two options, you be a father or you return them back to the village. As I stated before, you can't be fighting and babysitting at the same time. What about our enemies? What about the princess? Is it not important to you anymore?

Lilia: Shut it! Stop making assumptions. This conversation is over.

Soldier 1: But..

Lilia: As your general, I order you to drop it.

Soldier 1: ....Yes sir..

Lilia Now excuse me, I'm gonna get some shuteye. It's been a long night and I'm exhausted.

Soldier 1: ...Have a good night general.

*As soon as Lilia walked away, the soldier sighed and leaned his back against the tree.*

Soldier 2: He just doesn't listen.

Soldier 1: Nope, not at all. Came in one ear and out the other.

Soldier 2: Don't worry, it won't be that long before he loses his mind. Kids are quite a chore. It takes someone with sanity and patience to raise a child.

Soldier 1: Agree. Let's hope he's making the right choice. Otherwise, we're dead.

Soldier 2: *He looks up at the sky and notice how rain clouds are forming.* Ha..we should get to shelter. Looks like it's about to storm.

Soldier 1: Then let's get to our tents and rest. We got a big day tomorrow. *He mumbles.* That is if we make it all day tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to this.

Soldier 2: Hahaha someone's a negative Neg.

Soldier 1: Think about it real quick, then answer me.

*Meanwhile, Lilia was in his own tent. The listener was meandering around but jumped when they heard the loud thunder.*

Lilia: What's the matter? You bout jumped out of your skin.

Listener: *They begin to tear up and ran up to Lilia, crying.*

Lilia: Are you afraid of the thunder?

Listener: *The listener nodded and huddle themself as close as they possibly can.*

Lilia: Here, hope this can help. *Lilia draped his hooded cape around the listener. Every little scent of him made them feel a lot calmer.*

Lilia: Is that what I have to do? Hand you something that has my scent? Like..my cape.

Listener: *They could feel their eyes drooping and curled up next to Lilia.*

Lilia: Looks like I'll be sleeping on the ground. Oh well, not like I have a bad back or something. *He places a hand over the top of the listener's hand. Humming a lulling tune. Hoping this'll make the listener feel safe and secured.*

Lilia: I'm not a fan of children and babysitting you was a pain in the tail. You're not as bad as the other children I see. *He held the listener closer to him.* But I know I wouldn't put you in any danger. Don't worry, I won't be like those idiots that abandoned you. Get some sleep...I'll figure this out tomorrow.
