{Script 73} Child Encounter {Lilia x Child Listener}

Lilia: Ugh... *He goes up and picks up the child by the shirt.* The one thing I hate in this world is crying babies. Fine...if I play with you. Will you stop crying?

Listener: *They nodded yes and giggled.*

Lilia: Honestly tho, how I did wind up being the babysitter? Where are your parents? Surely they're freaking out by now.

Listener: *They looked at Lilia with a confused expression but looked down sadly*

Lilia: What's with the sad expression? Are you telling me you can't find your parents or your parents are....wait...

Lilia: This kid's an orphan...they don't have parents. Hm? What's this around the kid's neck?

Lilia: Pardon me but let me see what you're wearing around your neck.

Listener: *The listener notice Lilia trying to take off their necklace. They pulled it back, looking at him.*

Lilia: Relax, I'm not going to steal it from you. I just want to see it, that's all. If I want to steal something from you, I would've done it in a flash.

Listener: *They take off the necklace and hand it over to Lilia.*

Lilia: *Lilia looks to see that the necklace has a locket attached to it. He opened it to see that it was a photo of their parents.* Why would they give it to a toddler? Is this a message that they're planning on abandoning this kid? Kinda fucked up to hand a photo of their mom and dad to a kid and just leave them. I don't like kids but I wouldn't do something like that. I should take him back to the village. That's a lot safer than the woods.

Lilia: *Lilia turns around to hand the necklace back to the kid. However, they already disappeared.*

Lilia: Oh for fuck sakes. Where did they go?

*Lilia frantically look around far and wide in the woods, trying to find the missing child. Not knowing that this kid wanted to play a game of hide n seek.*

Lilia: Hey kid, the devil did you go? I am in no mood for any foolishness. *Lilia huffed in annoyance.*

*Small giggles were heard and Lilia was listening to where the giggles are coming from.*

Lilia: You know you're not really good at this game. The key of being a good hider, is to be quiet. I can track down where those giggles are coming from. And that's behind this....tree! Eh? The hell? I could've sworn you were there. Quick little one. I didn't hear any footsteps.

*The giggles were heard, this time a little closer.*

Lilia: Okay now I found you. You're in this log aren't you? *Lilia look through the log and...nothing.* .....how do people enjoy this game? All it's doing is frustrating the shit out of me. *Lilia growled.*

*The listener giggled again, only again a little farther than before.*

Lilia: Augh! You little brat! You're doing this to taunt me! Now you're testing my patience!

*Lilia traveled farther and farther away, away from the campgrounds. As he traveled far, the giggles got a little closer and closer. And the giggles came from a waterfall.*

Lilia: Okay strange, the giggles are coming from the waterfall? But where?

Listener: Hi hi! *The listener looks down at Lilia, giggling.*

Lilia: Hey! Get down from there or you'll get hurt!

Listener: Nuh uh! *The listener blew a raspberry and dances around on the rock on the river*
