"Death, you die."

Papers. Papers everywhere.

"Brianna? What are you doing?" I heard Lena call from upstairs.

I was in the basement looking at all my mothers research on Vampires and death and anything I can find that can help me figure out why I can't feed.

"Uh, nothing!" I then heard her come down the wooden stairs.

"What is all this?" She leaned down beside me, laying to mugs on the cold cement floor.

"Just some of my moms stuff." She nodded and sat beside me.

"I made some hot chocolate." She said handing me one of the mugs.

I smiled at her, "Thanks." I took a sip and that relaxed me. I could feel the warmness run through my body.

"You put cinnamon in it? That's how dad use to make it." I say softly.

"That's how your grandma taught us." She smiled at me.

"I miss nana." I said quietly.

"She was at the funeral, why didn't you come?" She asked and I just stared at down at the warm liquid in my mug.

" It was to hard, ya know? Losing both my parents within a year." She set her mug down and wrapped her arms around me.

"I understand. Ana was my best friend, Ryan was my only sibling. It's hard." She says kissing my forehead then pulls out of the hug. (A/n her parents names if you didn't figure that out)

"So," She says picking up a paper. "Why are you interested in-" She paused and held the paper closer to her face. "Vampires?"

I took the paper from her hand and looked at it. "This one's in Latin, you know Latin?"

She nodded, "Me and your father did." Once she said that something clicked in my head.

"Wait is there a possibility dad wrote this and not my mom?"

"Oh yeah. Your mother didn't know a single thing in Latin." She laughed a little.

"Why did my dad know all this stuff then?" Her eyes widened.

"They didn't tell you yet?" She asked stunned.

"Tell me what? About the supernatural? I already know about that."

"Y-yeah about supernatural. It's all fake though, stupid Twilight stuff." She laughed nervously, standing up.

"Are you done with that? I'll take it upstairs." She grabbed my mug and rushed upstairs.

She's keeping something from me, and I'm going to find out.

I should have brought a flashlight, I'm so stupid. I took out my phone and turned on the flashlight.

Since I can't keep human blood down, I thought maybe I could get animal blood; though, I think it was pretty stupid for me to come out at night.

I hate that I have to do this but if I can't feed I'll die, and I'm not ready to die.

I just killed a rabbit and now I'm bawling my eyes out. I didn't want to kill the poor thing but I've been out here for an hour and I couldn't find anything. I love animals...

I wiped my mouth off and stood up from the ground. I wrap my arms around my stomach and walk back toward the front of Beacon Hills preserve where I parked my aunts car.

I looked around nervously. Wait, which way is it? Crap, I'm lost. I ran my fingers through my hair as I walked the way I think the car is parked.

I began to hear voices so I walked toward them, maybe whoever it is they can help me out. Lets just hope they aren't crazy people who wouldn't care to kill me.

As I walked closer to them, I stopped when I saw a car. I approached it hesitantly. I ran my fingers over one of the wheels. Looks like an old car wreck.

A flashlight flashed on my face and I heard screams and then I screamed back.

"Brianna?! What the hell are you doing out here? Trying to give us a heart attack?"

I squinted my eyes and noticed that it was Scott and Stiles. I sighed in relief that it wasn't like, a murderer or something.

"I-I was just out here on a walk and I got lost and I heard voices so I went toward them hoping they could help me." I lied some what.

"What are you guys doing out here? In the middle of the night?" I asked them.

"We were actually looking for this." Stiles says pointing to the upside down car.

"Why?" I walked over to the other side of the car where they were standing.

"Long story, Scott look at this." He jumped off from a rock and flashed the light at the side of the car.

"You see those?" I looked closer and saw they were claw marks. Scott reached his hand forward and slowly ran his hand down the direction they were going.

"Animal claws would be closer together, right? A lot closer," Stiles said looking at Scott.

"Then it was a werewolf."

"Another werewolf? Oh gosh," I ran my fingers through my hair.

"So my dad was right," Stiles says, ignoring my comment.

I sat on a rock and let them investigate the car since they don't need my help. "Whats that?" Stiles ask pulling something out that was stuck under a seat.

I stand up and and lean over behind them, trying to get a look. It looks like a baby doll.

"I'm hungry," It said.

Stiles screams, dropping it and bumping into me making me fall on my butt.

He gasps and puts his hands on his knees. "I think I just had a minor heart attack," I look over at Scott to see him holding onto his chest.

Stiles looks over to me and grabs my hand helping me up from the ground as I glare at him.

A moment later, we hear a low growl come from the trees on the edge of the clearing.

"Hey, you guys," Scott says gaining our attention. "Please tell me you see that."

I glance into the trees to see two glowing eyes. I nod, terrified. Stiles, Scott, and I creep around the car trying to get a better look at the animal.

The animal lets out one last growl before running into the trees, Scott quickly following.

"Scott!" Stiles shouts.

"I'll get him," I say to Stiles quickly. I push off the ground running a little after Scott before stopping.

I feel this pain in my stomach and I fall to my knees, throwing up the blood I had just fed off from the rabbit.

Damn it!

"Brianna!" I here Stiles call out from behind me. I didn't get far so he was by my side in seconds. "Is that blood?" He asks kneeling down beside me.

I nod slowly as tears weld in my eyes. Animal blood didn't work either. I sob as I wipe my mouth on my jacket sleeve.

"What's going on? Are you okay?" He wraps his arms around me and helps me stand up.

I shake my head and push away from him. "I'm fine." I walk back toward the car, wiping my eyes.

"No you don't look fine, tell me what's going on."

I rub my lips together. "I'm fine, I was just trying animal blood so I wouldn't have to feed off humans and I guess my body doesn't like it." Most of that was a lie.

He gave me a sympathetic look. "Really. I'm fine."
