"I need to get onto their suppliers, this shit is good," he says absentmindedly.
"It's yours now," I wink at him, patting his shoulder.
"Anything you take, we'll get her it here and take it back down to the car," I say, excitement bubbling through me as the prospects of the raid finally sink in.
"I'm going to have a look throughout the rest of the house," Gabriel says, "Meet back here in an hour,"
Everyone nods as Gabriel walks off, the twins leaving together to his knows where, leaving Ari and I together.
"How many people do you reckon have successfully completed a raid on the De Santis family?" he asks with a grin.
I smirk as I look at him, "Five," I say, earning a sharp laugh as he pats my back. "Have fun Ana, let's mess with this fucker," he says, pinching my cheek before chuckling and walking off.
For some reason I feel ill at ease standing in this room, my stomach flipping in a way it never has before.
I've completed numerous raids before, but this one feels different. It's much more dangerous than the others, the stakes being higher than ever. And not to mention the guilt creeping through me.
I dread to think what Mom and Dad would think if they saw me now; stealing from the people they viewed as friends.
"Pull yourself together Anastasia," I mutter, shaking my head as I walk out of the room and across the hallway, opening a door leading into another room filled with boxes.
Some are open and I look in to see First Aid kits in each of them.
I take out my pocket knife and slice open all the boxes, each row filled with a different thing, all either kits or tools for First Aid.
I can't help but smirk as I pick up one of the boxes and carry it to the open trap door, knowing that these are perhaps the most valuable of everything in this house.
However powerful and feared the Italian-French Mafia is, they're not invincible, they get injured like anyone else. And without these supplies, they'll be weakened.
I go back and forth between the two rooms, taking a few boxes from each row, only leaving them with a handful of supplies.
Once I'm satisfied with how much I've taken, I stop by each room, most of them still empty.
I stop to pull out my phone when I hear it ring, swiping to receive the call as I see Griffon's name on the screen.
"Come into the room the auction was in, it's a fucking gold mine," he says, his voice laced with excitement.
"I'm on my way," I reply, reaching the end of the hallway as I turn to see the two big doors opening up to the open space.
I hang up and shove my phone back in my pocket, my lips parting as I see the busy room.
"Christmas came early this year apparently," Everett scoffs, his eyes alight as he looks through the boxes.
"What's in them?" I ask, walking over to the nearest one.
"A shit tonne of weapons and ammunition, that's what's in them," Ari says, taking out a hand gun and flipping it over in his hand.
"The question is, how much do we take?" Gabriel muses, taking out a small case of bullets.
"Just enough to make it noticeable," Griffon replies, lifting a box with a grunt.
"I took a bunch of their First Aid supplies too," I say, brushing over the guns in the box with my fingers.
