Kirishima x Reader (fluffliest fluff)

Had it always been so cold in the dorms? You felt the chill of the nighttime air on your fingertips as you made your way down the stairs to the common area.
This wasn't a particularly common occurance, you credited it to the fright you'd had earlier, smiling as you thought back to the events that had played put earlier that same day.

"It's just one movie!" Mina had cried, "Come on y/n, pleasee-"
Against your better judgement, you'd let her persuade you, clambering onto her bed as she grinned widely.
Torture ensued for the next few hours.
"Never again" had been your feedback as the credits of Friday the 13th dragged down the laptop screen.

So maybe the film had made you slightly more jumpy than usual, but what was the worst that could happen? You were in the grand UA, after all. A school packed with prospective heroes and trainees alike, skilled fighters around every pristine corner. A completely safe, entirely horror free-
"What are you doing up so late, y/n?"

The fear of God possessed your body. For a moment at least, until your mind registered from whom the cheery voice came from. A tall spiky haired figure emerged from the shadows, cup of tea in hand.

"DON'T DO THAT KIRI-"
"Uh sorry.. didn't mean to scare ya."
"You nearly gave me a heart attack, what are you doing up yourself anyways?" You asked, a hand rested on your chest in an attempt to calm your frazzled nerves.

"Couldn't sleep, and apparently neither can you" he laughs, taking in your weary form.
"Blame Mina.."
Slowly, you made your way to the sofa, plonking down onto it in defeat.
"I told her I don't like horror movies" you sighed out, "Can't sleep now, I'm too paranoid."
He chuckles at that,taking a seat next to you, placing his cup onto the coffee table.
"I don't mind keeping you company, if it'd make you feel any better?" He questions, curiosity laced with caution in his voice.
You take a moment to consider. It might make you feel a little better knowing you had backup if any creepy occurances were to happen.
"I'd like that, thank you." You offer him a grateful smile, making yourself comfy in your spot as you attempt to stifle a yawn.
You feel your eyelids grow heavy, a lack of substantial sleep seeming to catch up with you.
His words echoe through the dark, the last thing you hear before sleep posseses you, "Don't worry about it darlin', i got nowhere else I'd rather be."

The next morning, you're awoken to the sound of giggles and "awwhs," slowly blinking the sleep out of your eyes. It takes you a moment before you realise what all the fuss is about. However, once you feel the warmth of an arm around your waist and the sound of soft snores by your ear..
A blush creeps across your face, swatting at the dazed redhead until he releases you from his hold.

"I think we overslept.."
"Ya think?"

Okkk so, my short hiatus turned out to be an incredibly long hiatus. Sorry about that guys!!
