Chapter 23- Ice-Cream chase!!

I am here in lunch buying Ice- cream for them. In the college playground.

"Thank you Dhruv"
"Thank you my dear son" mom said.

I love when she calls me son, feels like mom is again with me.

"Oh dhrisha don't call him son" maira said.

"Why?" she asked.

"Or he will tell you to pamper him more." she said.

"Oh just shut up Maira you are just jealous that I get lot of attention then you." I said.

She made a face and looked at dhrisha"Dhrishu!!"

"Aye...Dhruv don't you dare to fight with maira"

"But mom she started fighting with me" I said pouting.

"Oh shut up monkey she is my best friend before being your mom understood!" she said putting one hand to her shoulder.

"Mom...!" I whined.

"She is right dhruv, I will be always with her" she said.

"And I will always choose You whenever I have to choose" maira said showing me her tongue.

This girl likes to get on my nerves!!

I snatched the ice-cream from her.

"Dhruv give me my ice-cream Now!" she said and I ran behind dhrisha.

"Now you won't get it" I said.

This time I showed her my tongue.
She pouted and looked at mom for help.

"Dhrishu tell him na!" she whined.

"Sorry I won't come between your fight I have to go " mom said and started going.

Oh shit!

"Dhruv Now who will save you from me!" she said but I ran again in the ground.

"Dhruv!" she yelled.

"No way Maira!" I shouted and smiled widely.

She won't get to eat to this ice-cream.

But luck was not in my hand today, I tripped and fall in the grass.

She caught me, she took the ice-cream from my hand, She smirked looking at the ice-cream.

Lastly ! i balanced myself.!

She put the ice-cream on my face and ran.

How dare she!

Wait maira!

This time I ran behind her, wiping my face.

"Wait maira! I won't spare you!" I shouted.

I heard her giggles.

"Catch me if you can!" she shouted back.

She wants to challenge me!
Challenge accepted!!

We crossed the corridor and she ran in the empty class side, only her giggles and me calling her name can be heard. Eveyone is in cafeteria, that is why no one is here.

I ran behind her fast.

I reached for her wrist, try dhruv!

I caught her wrist and she stopped with a jerk.

She tried to run again but I held her waist and twirled her.

"Caught you!"

She laughed, I stopped and she was standing facing me.

"I told you I would catch you" I said.

She pulled back to run but I grabbed her wrist she faced towards me.

I blocked her way and now her back is touching the wall.

"You shouldn't try to escape you have to face the punishment" I said.

We both were breathing heavily because of running.

Her face.....it is looking red !
why maybe because she ran.

Ring!!!

I saw it was mom I backed away and pick up the call.

"Hello"

"Dhruv where are you?"

"Near the class, what happened"

"Nothing I was saying that after college You and Maira both are coming to my house for dinner!"

"Oh ok I will ask her."

I looked at maira, her face is more red.

"Maira" I called her.

She looked at me.
"Dhrisha is inviting us for dinner you wanna go?"

She nodded."Dh..dhruv I am going..going washroom."

I nodded and she went.

"Ok we are coming ok mom"
"Ok evening 4'clock !"
"Yeah"
"Bye and tell maira to meet me in class."

"Ok bye I will message her."

I messaged her and went to yash and dakshit.
