"H-how did you find me?"
Emi trembled, barely keeping herself from running out that door.

Aaron chuckled menacingly.
"That should be the least of your worries, Emiliana."

He motioned to the floor, which told Emi to sit.

Slowly, she walked to where Aaron stood and sat cross-legged on the floor.

He did the same.

Sitting across from eachother, Aaron suddenly grabbed her face, inspecting it closely.

"Open your mouth."

"What are you-"
"I said, open your damn mouth."

She obeyed, slowly opening her mouth.

"The experiment worked. Fuck."
He whispered, narrowing his eyes.

"Are you going to kill me?" Emi said, once he had let go.

"Not yet. You might be useful."
"What?"

Aaron took out a lighter and lit a cigarette, and the orange glow lit up both their eyes in the almost pitch black room.

"My nephew likes you, for whatever reason. And you have unnatural abilities now that your weird-ass dad actually did a successful experiment."

He took a drag of the cigarette and blew the smoke away from Emi's face.

"So?" Emi raised an eyebrow, waiting for the punchline.

"So I want you to join us."
"What?"

"I'm not really a fan of Kingpin, or Eufemio, for that matter. I'm no man's servant."

He looked into Emi's eyes before continuing.

"I'm just there to spy on whatever the fuck they plan on doing next, so Miles can stop it, or get something from it. We aren't heroes, but we ain't villains either."

He took another drag, and exhaled the smoke again.

"With proper training, you just might be a good addition."

"What about my dad? He's still looking for me-"

"I'll fake your death. Don't ask me how I'll do it."
Emi widened her eyes, speechless.

"Don't fuck this up, and don't even think of hurting Rio or Miles."
He said, bluntly.

"I don't plan to-"

"You got a phone?"

Emi shook her head, prompting Aaron to rummage in his coat pocket.

He took out a phone, and stuffed it into Emi's hands.

"I suggest you don't go public if you plan on doing social media, your father will find you in seconds. Don't worry about people hunting you down, his ego is too big to let any of his goons know he lost his kid."

Aaron stood up, and dusted off his coat.

"My number is already on there. When I call or text, reply."

He walked over to Emi's window.

"I'll see you later."

He climbed out, leaving Emi speechless.
