As I slowly woke up from a deep slumber, I became aware of an unusual warmth surrounding me. My eyes fluttered open, and to my surprise, I found myself cuddled up with Jungwon, my rival. A wave of flustered emotions washed over me, my cheeks turning a deep shade of red. How did this happen? I had fallen asleep next to him, and now we were tangled together, our bodies pressed close.

Before I could fully process the situation, I attempted to stand up from the couch, only to be pulled back down by Jungwon's strong grip on my waist. "Five more minutes," he mumbled, his voice raspy and filled with a hint of whining. His warm body leaving mine caused him to groan, clearly unhappy with the sudden rush of cold air against his skin.

Helpless against his hold, I found myself seated on the edge of the couch once again, this time facing away from him while he nestled closer to me, his arms tightening around my waist. His face nuzzled into the crook of my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I was at a loss for words, my cheeks burning as if they were about to explode. The sensation of his warm breath against my neck was both exhilarating and unnerving. The sweet aroma of vanilla wafted from him, filling my nose as if it were a sleeping mist. I snapped out of my daze, realizing the need to break free from this unexpected intimacy. However, I allowed him a few more minutes to cuddle me, as if I had no choice but to comply with his unspoken desires.

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally mustered the strength to stand up, causing Jungwon to wake up with a frown. "We have to go to school, we have a soccer tournament," I stated, gently shaking him to consciousness. "I washed your school uniform, so go change. It's in my room," I added before making my way to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water.

Jungwon groaned, stretching his body in a way that revealed a glimpse of his toned stomach. He rubbed his eyes, his tired gaze zoning out into the wall. I couldn't help but stifle a laugh at the sight, but I quickly dismissed it, focusing on the tasks at hand. Suddenly, a sneeze interrupted his zoning out, and he sniffled, realizing that his nose was stuffed.

"Are you sick?" I questioned, walking over to hand him a glass of water as I took a sip from my own. His voice came out nasally as he replied, "I'm not sure." I couldn't help but chuckle at his adorable state, raising my hand to place it against his forehead. His cheeks seemed to grow pink, but I decided to attribute it to the fever he must have.

"I think you should stay home," I stated, gently retracting my hand from his face. "No way," Jungwon immediately retorted, walking towards my fridge to grab a small snack. "I won't let you win that tournament."

I let out a sigh, realizing that convincing him to stay home would be a fruitless endeavor. With a sense of resignation, I made my way into my room to get ready for the day, leaving behind the warmth and confusion of our unexpected morning embrace.
