Olivia's POV

Me and Charles spent the last few days together and it couldn't be more perfect. I was sad because I have to go back to work again tomorrow night and also because it was Charles last few days at home. The season would begin next week and he has a lot to do before that.

But right now, we both tried to not think about it and just enjoy the time together. He showed me places in Monaco I've never seen before. We talked a lot, especially about his family and his past. It was enough for me to search up his name to find out how many strokes of fate he had already suffered. His father died, not many years after Jules Bianchi, his godfather, died because of an accident in a race. Also the problems with his team, he has sometimes. I really don't know how he can handle all the pain he's been through. It's really admirable how he can still be on of the happiest person I've ever met before.

Last night we spent at his apartment, where he played on the piano for me while I was laying on the couch just listening to him. I know I have to take it slow. I mean, we're trying. But both of us can't resist it. It's like we're magnets.

As we take a walk around Monaco we hear someone shout Charles name. We both turn around and see a boy with light brown curls coming at us. "Do you know him?" I whisper before this guy got to us. "Hey Mate!" Charles greets him with a hug. They chat a while before Charles turns to me. "Oh, this is Olivia. Olivia this is Lando Norris. He's also a formula 1 driver." Charles did told me about him before. I reach out my hand. "Nice to meet you." He shakes my hand and than give Charles a certain type of gaze with a smirk on his face. "Nice to meet you too, Olivia." I knew exactly what he meant with this face. After all I was a little surprised Charles introduced me at all.

"The party tonight. Are you still down?" Charles first looked at me than back to Lando. "You forgot, didn't you?" Lando raised his eyebrows with a smirk on his face. "Maybe?" Charles admit. "Come on. Olivia you should come too!" Lando now turns to me. I know what he's trying to do. If I say yes, Charles will probably say yes too. I hate it when things are made dependent on me. "Sure, will be fun I guess." Lando hugs me happily. "You will never forget that night, trust me!"

He was true. I will never forget that night.

I was getting ready at my apartment, facetiming with David to help me decide which dress I should wear tonight.

„This is the one!" he shouts as I'm getting out of the bathroom in a black silk dress I bought a few weeks ago after I got here.

„Really? Isn't like a little... to slutty?" David raised his eyebrows. Even if we are 1000 of kilometers apart I still know what's going on his head right now.

„You look really good, Liv. And Charles will think so too."

When I told him everything, what was basically a few hours a ago, he was unsure at first but told me after I just should have some fun. I didn't got much out my comfort zone back in Palma. As a bartender I act different, it's like I'm a other person. But in private, oh boy am I awkward. I was surprised I got comfortable with Charles so easy.

Let's see how this night will go.
