Chapter 93: "Liyuen vs. Shadow"

Shadow's point of view

I'M NOT supposed to be fighting with them since I already got what I came for. But seeing how this guy was about to ambush Hezuya, suddenly pissed me off and the next thing I knew, I already threw a hard chair towards this Liyuen guy na tumalsik papalayo ng templo.

The surroundings are in war, but this side of the forest is surprisingly quiet so this looks like the perfect spot for our fight. In the first place, I didn't intend on staying with Leonidas but as the time goes by, even though I already got my gauntlet back, I didn't notice that I'm already fond to accompany them in their journey.

Maybe I should just help them before I let myself out para naman maaliw ako kahit papa'no. Besides, I already killed all the RedLily members inside the temple so Hezuya can fill at ease while searching for his companion. Maliban na lang kung makasagupa nya agad ang tatlo pang natitira sa loob.

Keeping that aside, may laban din akong dapat asikasuhin dito kaya't hindi ko sya kayang sundan agad. Maybe Leonidas should hurry up and aid him. Nasa'n ba kasi ang taong 'yon?

"Hey. Aren't you planning on attacking?" Liyuen suddenly asked na nagpabalik sa kamalayan ko mula sa pag-iisip. He pushed his glasses upward with his middle finger. "Don't give me a crap fight or else you'll regret throwing a chair at me."

I snickered silently. "You're still mad about that? Ang seryoso mo naman masyado." may kinuha akong bagay sa inventory ko ngunit bago ko pa 'yon nahugot palabas, an invisible energy spear flew directly towards me that almost left me decapitated if I was not quick enough to tilt my head and only got a grazed. The energy spear cut through several trees behind that left me in a little bit problematic state.

And the next thing I saw is Liyuen, both hands inside his pockets and a thousand energy spears around him, pointing all of it to me. Those spears are almost invisible to the naked eye if hindi lang dahil sa lakas ng enerhiyang taglay ng mga ito.

Sa lakas ng wind power nya, napapasayaw pati ang mga damo't dahon sa mga puno sa paligid nya, maski ang sariling buhok at damit nito napapa-ugoy din.

"You thought you have the upper hand just by hitting me with a chair?" sya naman ngayon ang natawa't inayos muli sa mata ang kanyang salamin. "You're head is getting bigger, lad. Siguro kailangan mo ng kunting leksyon para matuto kang gumalang sa nilalang na mas malakas sa 'yo."

"It doesn't need words to scare me. It needs action."

Kumurba ang labi nito paitaas. "Hindi na ako makapaghintay na durugin ka."

And in a single blink, three wind spears  agad ang pinakawalan nya't bumulusok sa akin. I dodged each one of them that hit those trees behind me with shockingly powerful shockwaves. Madudurog agad ako kapag natamaan ako no'n. Bukod sa mabutas ang katawan ko, maghihiwa-hiwalay din ang lahat ng laman ko kapag kumalat ang shockwave no'n.

I ran around him trying to corner him as I waited to attack at a perfect spot but dodging his wind spears are harder than I expected since it got faster and precised than earlier.

"What's the matter? Aren't you already going to teach me a lesson for dishonoring you?" Still. I tried provoking him para naman maapektuhan kahit kunti ang accuracy ng tira nya.

He didn't budge from where he is standing while his unlimited wind spears kept flying around to try and hit me. "You don't have to be hasty. Let me enjoy hunting you for a while." and in a split second he disappeared from his position.

Napakurap ako't nahinto sa pagtakbo pero nanlaki rin agad ang mata na napalingon sa likod nang may sunod-sunod ulit na wind spears ang bumulusok sa 'kin mula roon. "Trying to attack me from behind, huh." I dodged his attacks again but in a split second he appeared directly above me and like a rocket he released a heelkick down my head.
