I tighten the strings on my leather combat boots and readjust my gloves. Currently, the Polar Tang was right under the waters of Marineford, where the War of the Best was engaging at.
"Going above water!" Bepo yelled through his microphone, alerting everyone to prepare for anything coming. I could begin to hear the battle cries, explosions, gunshots, swords clinging, etc.
"All the way surfaced!" Bepo called out again, this time telling us we were about to go into battle.
Captain stepped next to me, which I was by the front hatch/door. We turned to each other nodded and opened the latch.
"Remember, we're trying to not fight. Just save Straw hat - maybe Ace, and leave." I thought to myself, now had fully stepped out of the submarine. Looking out into the battlefield, I looked around and tried to spot Straw hat. Once my eyes shifted to the middle of the field I noticed three souls; Fire Fist, Straw hat, and an Admiral.
