As they walked through the halls they passed some junior disciples training with their swords. Not to brag or anything, but TaiFeng thought that her sword style was a lot better.
Whenever she felt bored she would exercise. One day she bought a weighted training sword and practiced with that. So far she had come up with ten forms. She called them Fleeting Dragon Steps.
Intrigued nonetheless, she hid behind a pillar and watched them. As Wei Wuxian about to take step forward, he noticed TaiFeng didn't follow him and see her hiding behind the pillar, he followed her gaze and came across the disciples train with their swords.
Seeing this make her interest, he couldn't help but amused as he looked at her and asked. "You like swords?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"I used to have a wooden training sword as a toy when I was just a kid. So whenever I was bored, I would try and copy the moves I'd read in books until I came up with my own style. I can't use spiritual energy or talismans though, as I never learned how to form a golden core." She replied as she still looked at disciples with curious eyes and fond smile, not noticing Wei Wuxian gaved her a shock with awe.
"You came up with your style?!" Wei Wuxian excitedly asked as he gripped at her shoulders tightly but TaiFeng paid no mind to it as she focused Wei Wuxian sparkling eyes to her.
"Yep, I called it Fleeting Dragon Steps... Since my mother's name meant Little Dragon, so I named it that in honor of her for raising me until now." TaiFeng replied and gaved Wei Wuxian another fond smile.
'Wow, I'm really outdoing myself with these lies. But atleast I'm not lying for my mother raising me along father and the other's for giving me full of love.'
"That's sounds awesome! But it's not too late to form a golden core y'know. If you try hard enough you might be able to form a small one!" Wei Wuxian encouraged as he guide her in training field.
"Really? Do you think so?" TaiaFeng said as she looked at Wei Wuxian an innocent look which makes him gulp at her adorable innocent face. He shook himself to get snap out of his simp of his crush.
"Well, that depends." Wei Wuxian said with a smirk. He then went over to some stands which had swords stacked up against them.
"Show me what you got."
"Right now?!"
"C'mon, you sounded so proud when you talked about it. Don't worry what other people thinking."
He then made the disciples clear space on the training field. At this point, Jinag Cheng and Yanli came out to see what all the comotion was about.
"Wei Wuxian! What are you doing?" Jiang Cheng said angry as ever. But there's also a hint jealousy when he saw his martial brother together with TaiFeng.
"I'm just showing off my new pretty friend about our swords fight!" Wei Wuxian jokingly said as TaiFeng choked on air with small blush on her cheeks and Yanli just laughed at his antics.
"Well, I always did want a friend and sister." Yanli chuckled. But TaiFeng could see an excited look on Yanli's eyes. Probably excited to hang out together as girl's thing.
"Don't let her carry a sword she might hurt herself!" Jiang Cheng screamed with concern look on his eyes. Now don't get wrong him, as much he wanted to see TaiFeng what could do he just couldn't help but worried about her. Not that he was going tell the truth. (Oh Jiang Cheng you are just shy to say a word for her all because of your pride you had.)
This lit a fire inside of TaiFeng, if there is one of things she hated it was people thinking she was weaker than she actually was or even underestimate her, she will show that a woman can even lift a sword and fight side along with men like Mulan did.
