"Holy shit" Daisy whispered in shock.
"D this doesn't change anything, I like you and I want to be with you, but if you need time, I'll wait".
"Why didn't you tell me" She asked slightly offended she was only learning this information now.
"I couldn't, Fury wanted it on the down low and Coulson has been keeping me on a tight leash" I huffed.
"But you could have told me, you can always tell me Y/N" she started getting angrier.
"I'm not going to argue Daisy, if you're mad then be mad you have a right to be. Listen, D... you know how this job is sometimes, you are so special to me and every time I see you, I just want to tell you every bad thing I've ever done and have there be no secrets, but it's not like that in our world"
"I understand Y/N it just hurts, it's like I don't know who you are", I grabbed her hands grounding her.
"We can talk about this and figure out where we're going but you need time to let this sink in, then, when we get back from this mission, I will tell you everything you want to know" I reassured her.
"We need to finish getting ready, we only have 20mins and you haven't finished doing your hair yet".
