Luz: "Soooo... what book did you chose for the report?"
Y/N: "Diary of a Zombie in Craft Miners. It's about a zombie kid living inside a game world about magic blocks that defy gravity!"
Luz: "Sounds interesting."
Y/N: "Thanks!"
Seeing Y/N smile at her was always a big highlight of her day. She remembered how stiff he used to be around her and Lucia, talking all formal, with a straight posture every time, but now he was more laid back thanks to the progress they had. Once they walked inside the classroom, they took their seats, Luz placing the rattling box on her desk as they watched the other students pile in, followed by the teacher.
Teacher: "I'm not going to waste your time here. It's the last day and we have twenty book reports to go through, some of which I'm sure will have a reason why they can't be presented."
The teachers narrowed his eyes at the students, 11 of which raised their hands with nervous smiles and shakes of their heads, implying they don't have a book to present. The teacher sighed and rubbed his temples.
Teacher: "Thankfully I want to go home as much as all of you to enjoy my time away from all you pests- lovely students of mine. So let's just present all our reports and be done with it. Now, who wants to go first?"
Well, the report was more interesting than anyone could have imagined. Y/N sitting next to Luz in the principal's office, listening to her present her book report. Turns out her box was filled with live snakes which ended up breaking out and going rampant on the school before she could present her book. And to nobody's surprise, it's an Azura book. Y/N kicked his legs back and forth, fully invested in his friend's story, while the two adults where more confused than anything. One is Principal Hal, of course. The other is our favorite latina mother of two, Camila Noceda, who came here straight from work after hearing one of her daughters got into trouble. Again.

Luz: "And that's the end."
Luz was holding an Azura toy along with one of the snakes, looking proud of herself. The principal was not amused, and Camila was completely lost.
Camila: "The end of what?"
Luz: "My book report."
The snake in Luz's hand bit off the toy's head, yet Luz remained calm like she didn't have an aggressive animal in her hand.
