Merlin. That's a well known name in the gaming community. A player that participates in big tournaments but only plays at home. Nobody knows who he is. None of them are right. In truth, Merlin, real name Y/N L/N, is just a neet who spends his life indoors. He has no social life and is always glued to his computer. Anything that let's his character wield the arcane.

While Merlin is well respected, feared and admired in the gaming community, Y/N is the total opposite. Awkward with social skills that make him look creepy to most, and bad rumors floating around him all the time led the boy to lead a solitary but quite enjoyable life, rid of the stress of having friends.

Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.
