As the screech ended, dozens of other spiders came out of holes and crevices of the cave, surrounding the intruder. Y/N looked around, feeling the fear crawling on his back. He was outnumbered 31 to 1. With a nervous gulp, he took a deep breath to calm himself. It was time for-

Y/N: "It's only a boss. My first ever boss. It shouldn't be too difficult... if this wasn't hard difficulty."
He looked around himself, counting the amount of spiders staring at him, waiting for any kind of move he might make. He quickly analysed the situation.
Y/N: "A swarm type boss. Weak stats, relies on it's minions to overwhelm the player."
He gripped his new wand tightly, readying himself to cast Magic Bullet. The spiders see this and get ready. He stared straight at the giant spider, taking in as much information as just looking would allow.
Y/N: "I have no area spells. Taking out the small ones, then deal with the boss is my best strategy."
Just then, he raised wand, aimed at the small cluster of spiders, and fired before any of them could react.
! CRITICAL HIT !
One shot, one kill. As long as all little spiders were this quick to kill, he'd be fine. Not taking any more chances, some spiders jumped at him, their fangs ready to pierce the human's skin. Y/N ducked down just in the nick of time, aiming his wand with one hand, and making a finger pistol with the other. He fired, hitting another two spiders that sailed past him. The assault didn't stop, though, as more spiders either jumped or crawled towards him quickly with the intent to overwhelm him. The boy didn't falter and instead began firing in a spread. Good thing Magic Bullet didn't have a cooldown, so as long as he had enough MP, he could continuously cast it. At about 10 defeated spiders, the Broodmother finally did something. Raising it's abdomen again, it shot out a thick string of webs, which caught Y/N off guard and stuck to his back.
Y/N: "... bollocks."
The spider tried swinging Y/N around like a ragdoll, but he held onto a rock covered with sticky webs so he stayed in place. The Broodmother screeched, likely in anger, and the spiders started crowding around Y/N. Still stuck, he didn't hesitate to shoot down any spider that came too close, and soon there were only about 6 small spiders plus the Broodmother. He finally was freed from the webbing and fell to the floor. He quickly checked his status at the edge of his view so he knew how much HP and MP he had left, and once he saw his MP low, quickly dunk an MP Potion. His health was fine, so he didn't need an HP potion just yet.
