Deciding not to waste time thinking, he dealt with the spiders first. He was more used to fighting the spiders since this dungeon was pretty common, just wait until they jump, back away, and shoot them. Easy-peasy. It took no time at all exterminating the little pests. Once that was done, he approached the box cocoon and ripped off the webs, praying it wasn't full of spider eggs. Just the thought made him shiver. Thankfully, it was a bonus chest.
Y/N: "Aww, sweet!"
These have a low chance of appearing in random rooms and, while not having better loot than the final chest, they can still give good stuff.

To say Y/N was surprised would be an understatement. He wasn't expecting to get anything decent from the chest. Maybe a couple of potions or something, not a weapon, much less fit for his class. The shield was okay, too.

Unable to wait to test out his new wand, Y/N rushed to the next room over. He wasted no time and cast Magic Bullet on a spider. He noticed some strings appearing around it, wrapping up it's legs, but quickly disappeared when the spider moved a bit. With a frown, he shot it again, but the same webs did not appear. It said small chance, after all. Sighing, he just finished off all the spiders and sat down on the floor, getting his butt covered in webs.
Y/N: "That didn't do much..."
"Did you seriously expect to trap a spider in webs?"
Y/N: "Of course! But I thought it would do more."
"... I'm gonna repeat myself. Trap a spider, in spider web."
Y/N: "... I don't get it."
"This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Never mind, it is funny. Haha, that is me laughing at you."
Y/N: "You're weird."
With that conversation out of the way, little spider boy wannabe got up, brushing off his pants to get rid of the webs, and got a move on to the next, and possibly last, room of today's dungeon. Just another open cave filled with spiders, but...
Y/N: "Why do I hear boss music?"

Falling from a hole in the ceiling came a spider double the size of the human, causing him to tremble in fear. In all his dungeon explorations, he had never encountered anything that ever made him feel actual fear, but this... this was a whole other breed of monster. Raising it's abdomen, it let out a loud screech in a challenge.
