Chapter 1: A Lying Witch and a Warden

Luz reached back for the hood of her hoodie and pulled it over her head, raising two cat ears with her fingers cutely.

Luz: "Meow meow!"

Eda and King stared at her in utter confusion. Meanwhile, Lucia snickered, still holding Y/n's arm... possessively.

King: "It's hideous."

Y/N: "It's cute."

Eda: "Oh, you'll fit right in."

Nobody noticed the blush on Luz's face at being called cute by her cru- best friend as Eda slammed the butt of her staff on the ground, creating the same yellow sparks as before and generating a glowing yellow platform that elevated Luz, Lucia, King and Y/N into the air.

Eda: "Hang on tight!"

The platform flew up higher and higher as it headed for the tower. Y/N was struggling to keep his balance, so he ended up having to lean against Luz. The girl blushed madly but didn't push him away, if anything, she kept him close. Very close. She ignored Lucia's teasing grin and focused on keeping Y/N on the platform. Once they reached a window on the highest floor, the platform instantly disappeared under them and, if not for Lucia quickly grabbing the edge of the window along with Y/N's hand, who was holding Luz, who was holding King, they would definitely have fallen to their DOOOOOM! *cough* To their doom.

Lucia: "I am gonna kill that bi-!"

Meanwhile, back on the ground, Eda awakened her staff a started riding it. It flew away as she simply sat on it with a calm smile.

Eda: "Meet you guys at the top of the tower."

Her voice echoed in the distance, which did nothing to calm Lucia who was yelling curses in her head. King started climbing up the humans until he made it inside the window. Lucia mustered all her strength to pull the remaining two inside, grunting with the weight of their bodies. With one last pull, she threw the two inside... mmh, strong women... where was I? Oh yes, she threw the two younger humans onto the window, but just enough for them to hold onto it and climb inside themselves. But since Luz forgot she was still holding Y/N's hand, she lost her grip and fell on the floor inside, with Y/N following her example by landing face first on her belly. -Dirty pervos, thinking it was her booba. I'm not that predictable-

King: "Haha, cats don't do that."

Lucia: "You would know, being a dog and all."

King: "I'm not a dog!"

Y/N got up from Luz and helped her up. She gratefully accepted his hand and let him pull her up to her feet as Lucia climbed in much more gracefully. Once they were all inside, Luz and Y/N awed at the view. Rows and rows of cells stretching out along a massive spiral walkway. There were many creatures inside. Some big, some small, all were hidden in the shadows. King climbed onto Luz's shoulders to get a higher view as they all walked further in, now standing at the edge of the walkway. Lucia kicked a loose pebble and watched it fall all the way down, hearing an echoing "OW" shortly after she lost sight of it. Suddenly, a voice cut them off from their sightseeing and they all turned to one of the cells closest to them.

??: "Psst, hey. Cat lady."

Inside the cell was a woman with a ponytail and the same pointy ears as Eda, looking at them with her arms crossed.

Prisoner: "How did you get out of your cell?"

Luz: "Oh, no no no. I'm not a cat. Also, I'm not a criminal."

King/Lucia: "Not yet, you're not."

Prisoner: "Neither are we. The stupid warden likes to lock up people who don't fit in. Like, I like fanfics of food falling in love."
