Chapter 1: A Lying Witch and a Warden

Luz: "I think I knocked it out of the park."

Principal Hal: "Your book report is why you're in here."

Y/N: "I liked it. You're very good at telling stories, Luz."

Luz: "Aww, thanks."

Luz brought him in for a side hug, so the snake was now resting against his shoulder, menacingly hissing. Y/N jumped in his seat once he heard screams outside, seeing from the window on the door many students running around in panic over the snakes. Luz was't so affected and just let go of Y/N.

Luz: "So that's where the backup snakes were."

Camila: "And what were you going to do with... this?"

Camila raises a bundle of fireworks tied together in a very dangerous display of why you need adult supervision. Y/N looked at it in interest, never having seen or lit up one.

Luz: "That was for the act three closer..."

Camila: "Mija, I love your creativity, but it's gotten out of hand. Do you remember why you were in the principal's office the last three times?"

Luz and Y/N looked at each other and reminisced about those interesting moments.

The Play Incident- Third Month

Luz was on a stage with other students for an audition for a play. She was wearing a green dress with a cone hat, while the girl beside her, looking concerned for herself, was wearing a much more detailed blue dress. -I wish my school put this much effort into theatre props- Luz had a spork in her hands, aimed at her chest.

Luz: "Oh, happy dagger! Give me death!"

She 'stabbed' herself before ripping the dress and letting a sausage link fall. The other kids all ran away, screaming. Meanwhile, Y/N was sat in an audience seat with Lucia, the boy was clapping while the girl was hysterically laughing.

Lucia: "That's my sister!"

The Science Project Incident- Second Month

Y/N was busy preparing the last touches of his science project. A classic bicarbonate volcano. He always wanted to do one. Lucia was in the table in front of him, leaning against her project. A cardboard wall with some papers stuck to it titled "Why Bones Break". She wasn't too interested in the fair, more so watching Y/N act like an innocent little child as he made his volcano. A few rows away from them stood Luz, using a needle to sew the head of a pigeon to the body of a squirrel. Her work of art was on a little stand titled "Baby Griffin".

Luz: "And now for the final anatomically correct touch... spider breath!"

With a finger, she opened the beak of the creature, causing thousands of small spiders to crawl out and invade the entire school workshop. She stood still while spiders crawled all over her body and watched as her classmates screamed in terror. Lucia was lazily squashing any spider that came too close while Y/N saw the spiders crawl inside his volcano and backed away. After all, he can't be a weird kid by being normal, so he added an extra ingredient to his volcano.
