INT. STUDY LOUNGE - AFTERNOON
1:37 p.m.
Marty and her sister had just arrived at the study lounge. Harley greeted them both with a wave, but Marty glared at him.
It earned a little chuckle from him. Harley stood up to approach them at the register. Her sister was busy talking to the guy at the counter when Harley placed his arm around her shoulder.
HARLEY
Pinag-drive ka ng ate mo?
MARTY
Ewan ko sa 'yo! Alisin mo nga 'yang braso mo.
HARLEY
'Wag ka na magalit. At least makakapag-review ka ngayon. Tapos free ka rin magtanong sa amin kung sakaling nahihirapan ka do'n sa subject mo.
MARTY
Tumahimik ka nga. 'Di tayo bati.
Medyo natawa si Harley sa kanya. His arm also remained around her shoulder.
HARLEY
Sorry na. 'Di ko naman sinabi kay Maddie na ikaw mag-drive, e.
MADDIE
Tinamad lang ako. Saka para ako naman ipag-drive ni Marty. Palagi na lang ako, e.
Marty glared at the both of them. The glass door chimed when Winnie went in.
WINNIE
Aga n'yo, ah?
MADDIE
Sakto lang. Kararating lang din namin ni Marty.
WINNIE
Ay? Kasama ka?
Marty glared at her, too.
MARTY
Si Ate kasi, e. Sumama daw ako para may driver siya.
MADDIE
Bakit ako? Si Harley kaya nagsabi na ayain kita.
MARTY
Ikaw?
Harley smiled, pinching her cheek. Marty frowned at him. But the truth was, she doesn't really know how to react anymore with his arm around her, and the tiny pinch he just did to her cheek. She's not quite sure what's normal for hin anymore. She just decided to settle with whatever she could have and whatever he could give with whatever's going on.
But what she didn't know was how Winnie's eyes became inspecting, especially when Harley patted her head before removing his arm around her shoulder.
WINNIE
Harley.
HARLEY
O?
Winnie walked with him towards their table with her voice low.
WINNIE
Close kayo ni Marty 'no?
HARLEY
Oo?
WINNIE
As in sobrang close?
HARLEY
Ha?
WINNIE
O kayo ba? 'Di lang tayo madalas magkita sa school dahil sa papel pero ang dami mo atang hindi binabalita sa amin, ha?
HARLEY
Tulad ng?
WINNIE
Wala. Ang slow mo.
HARLEY
Grabe?
WINNIE
Mamaya. Baka marinig, e.
