Omg. Omg. Standing at the back of the chapel. I felt like I couldn't breathe. In just minutes I would be married off to one of the richest men on the planet. No one around could see the panic and sheer fear on my face with the veil covering it. But my mother detected it with the way my hands were shaking around the bouquet of flowers.
"Aurora. Stand straight. Act like a proper lady. You want your husbands first thought to be of what a graceful lady you are. Not whatever of a mess you are right now". She snaps at me. Making me want to cry even more.
I hear the music switch as my father comes up beside me taking my arm within his. The most amount of father daughter contact we've had my whole life. As I stare at the figure that did this. I realise that I know nothing about him. Nor does he know nothing about me.
His icy stare latches on to mine. The coldness is not something a father should be looking at his daughter like on her wedding day.
"This man is one of the most influential men on the planet. Do not embarrass me or my family name. You will be the obedient wife you have been taught to be your whole life."
That will be the last words my father says to me on my wedding day. As it makes me realise my fate. My life now. To be an obedient little wife.
I won't ever be able to go to college. Become a midwife like I wanted to be. I was only 18. Most people my age right now were writing their applications to college.
The curtains were withdrawn. As all eyes are curiously looked at me up and down wondering who had been able to wife Italy's most famous bachelor. I may not know much about him. But I had read a bit about him. Mostly about how he was seen with a new supermodel evey week on his arm. They all were quite the same. He clearly had a type. So tall and skinny and such prominent and sharp facial features. I was much shorter at 5'4. Not fat. But I didn't have the perfct flat stomach. I had dull greenish, blueish eyes. And bland brown hair. More soft facial features.
Around two thousand peope attended today. I couldn't tell u 5 of their names. All I knew is that they were very important . And very rich.
The men were all in their fancy suits. The women in rich dresses with waterfalls of jewels.
My eyes set on my future husband. My breathe catches in my throat. As his piecing blue eyes makes goosebumps appear on my arms. Standing tall at well over 6 foot. He was dressed impeccably in a full black suit. With dark brown hair. That looked so soft. He looked,
Perfect.
Anything you would want your dream man to look like. Only I saw the coldness in those eyes matching the ones my father had.
He was exactly like my father.
He comes to meet me and my father at the bottom of the alter.
As my father shakes his hand. My father tried not to show it. But I could see the intimidation he felt towards my husband to be.
As my eyes then wander to his. He's looking right at my eyes only he can't see them through the veil. Yet I feel naked and so vulnerable under his stare. His hand reaches for mine. His palm completely ingulfs my own.
His hand is surprisingly warm as my eyes study his face with curiosity.
We stand opposite eachother with our hands conjoined and the priest between us.
Honestly I've zoned out through out most of the ceremony. Focused on how my life is basically over. The Hernandez family was a worldwide family name known. It's been about for centuries.
As I feel movement I blink back to reality as my eyes meet up to his as his hands go to move my veil. My eyes start to tear up as I realise the ceremony is almost over and my new life is about to begin. His hands grip the veil as my lip quivers.
As the veil rises my eyes connect with his very own. Looking even more oceanic blue than before. He gently smoothes the veil back as his hands, feels like feathers. So soft and light. His hands gently caress my cheecks.
"Don't cry my snowflake. Your about to become the queen of the Hernandez family. Even the king bows to his queen". He gently murmers to me.
My heart warms. In the short time I've known this man. The first words he said to me were more comforting and loving than my father has ever spoken to me in my whole life.
"You may kiss the bride"
You may kiss the bride.
Kiss the bride
Kiss
Me
Kiss me
Oh no. I've never kissed anyone. I held one boys hand like 10 years ago. But I was soon homeschooled after, at the age of nine and had a very limited social interaction with anyone my age since.
His face inches closer to mine as his eyes don't blink staring directly into my soul. My eyes subconsciously close as I feel a pair of warm lips.
On the side of my mouth.
My eyes snap open to his. His hands drop from my face as he turns to face the clapping audience. To their side view it looked as if we actually had.
Stupid. Stupid.
Why would he ver want to kiss you. You've seen the perfect women he gets seems with. Your like three times their weight. He wouldn't have any attraction to someone who clearly eats one to many cookies from time to time.
I felt like I was gonna throw up. I looked around. All I saw was unrecognisable people. I had nobody.

It had been hours after the ceremony. And the after party was still going on although most were well drunk at this point. I had only had drank some water. I couldn't stomach anything.
Even though the food looked absolutely divine. I couldn't bring myself to eat as I stared at my husband chatting up some skinny blonde.
In a skin tight dress with a plunging neckline showing off her assets as I glance down at my wedding dress.
I had chosen it a couple weeks ago.
It was a pretty ball gown dress with a beaded top with a strapless sweetheart neckline. It didn't really do anything for my already not very good figure.
But I relise this is what my life consists of now. My husband chatting with pretty supermodels like he alway done. While I sat at his house.
What was I suppose to do with my life now.
