Weather conditions look promising. Shall we proceed with the training, secretary assistant?

What was that voice just now?

You've never felt more out of place in your life than right now standing idly inside the Jade Chamber.

Words couldn't describe the piercing looks of the Millelith guards as you followed behind the very prestigious and oh-so-rich Lady Ningguang. It seemed like her tolerance of you resonated with the guards that you were a person not to be targeted. Much to their annoyance you imagined; how would you like it if a criminal walked into a room so casually as you did?

Before diving into your current predicament, you took this opportunity to finally reflect on what had happened prior to boarding on the Jade Chamber. You appreciated the fact that the trio of best friends managed to catch you before you made your ascent. Even the Traveller couldn't resist seeing you one last time.

To be honest, you thought that you were never going to see your friends again. It was nice to know that they went out of their way, past the guards and an overprotective auntie, to give you a proper farewell.

Xingqiu had gotten to you first. His eyes were glossed over yet his radiant smile shined brighter like a sun's lightrays piercing through dark clouds. Nothing prepared you when he suddenly wrapped his arms around your waist and swooped you into his grasp as he embraced you for a last goodbye. Even a gentleman like him lost his noble composure as he whispered to you: "May your journey be successful, my liege."

Xingqiu's arms had to be pried open from your body as Chongyun gingerly made his way toward you, it was his turn to say goodbye.

He sheepishly extended a hand and the two of you timidly shook hands in mutual agreement. It was until Shenhe finally turned away to face elsewhere that Chongyun reached over to give you a proper hug. There was nothing else to it, just a simple hug goodbye and muttered message; "Fight the enemy like how you fought with me."

Chongyun sealed the cynical advice with an unironic wink and you couldn't help but grin half-heartedly. You were ready to fight your way to freedom if you had to.

What you weren't ready for was to all of a sudden catch a girl who seemingly fell from the sky into your arms.

Xiangling had jumped up to tackle you in a bear-style hug all while Guoba did the same as he latched onto your leg. The chef girl smothered you with her teary face and whaling cries. You had to hold onto her waist tightly because of how violently she was squirming, needless to say, you were glad that both of you didn't tumble down to the ground.

When she finally calmed down, the two of you were able to hug properly and she brought out a surprise pouch. Xiangling handed you a bag of the Pyro treats. Though you were hesitant to take them, she was very persistent and highlighted that there was no more use of them while in her possession. She said; "I know you probably won't need these but take them just in case you do end up meeting your big brother - when you meet your big brother."

The trio of best friends parted ways with you before any more of the waterworks kicked in. Though you didn't want this moment to end, there was one more person awaiting your undivided attention.

The girl that you have been searching for this entire time - the girl that had been your obsession as soon as you were assigned the Gnosis mission. The girl dressed in white. Sweet like a flower. As sharp as a thorn.

Lumine stood along the stone pathway with a shallow smile.

The girl that had bested you during this whole journey, whether it be in combat or with charm - the Traveller never ceased to amaze you with her capabilities.
