"Dear, where is the salt in here?", tanong n'ya at parang naghahanap pa rin. Natawa naman ako.
"It's in the first cabinet, Ma. Bandang kanan.", I said and she looked for it naman. Nang huminga s'ya ng malalim ay alam ko nang nahanap na n'ya.
"Your lagayan ay mahirap makita agad ", stress n'yang sabi na ikinangiti ko nalang.
Hearing her being happy makes me contented enough para sa victory na nakuha ko. Maybe this is enough and looking for peace is not that hard at all. How come my father cannot give this happiness to my mom even just a little? We talked for a while before I hang it up dahil I need to think pa. I had a plan, but I'm sure Akio will hate me if I do that and I do not guarantee success. I looked for my other phone and ask someone para may ipahanap akong number.
While waiting, I already plan everthing. If this is a success, then be it. After some time, someone called me and as expected, she is annoyed.
"What?", bungad n'ya sa'kin na inasahan ko na. It's Geala and I cannot blame her for this attitude since I ruined almost everything she have and for sure, apektado din ang career n'ya.
Kinalma ko muna ang sarili at nag-ipon ng napakahabang pasensya since I really do not like na ako ang tinatarayan. It should've been me being in the state but since ako ang may kailangan, I need to bow and tell her that I need her help.
"Do you love Akio?", I asked directly at sininghalan n'ya lang ako. Nagulat naman ako at iba ang sumagot sa'kin.
"If I'm not around, maybe she could love other man.", rinig kong nang-aasar na boses ni Michael. I didn't expect him to be with Geala and looks like okay na sila. Narinig ko pa ang kaunting asaran nila and nawala naman ang lahat ng inis ko kay Geala nang marinig ko ang masaya nilang tawanan. Looks like they are just indenial na sila talaga ang para sa isa't isa.
Hinintay ko muna silang makinig ulit bago ako nagsalita. "I need your help.", I said and nanahimik naman sila. "Can you buy my company?", I asked na mukang ikinagulat nila at hindi sumagot ng ilang minuto.
"What the hell are you telling right now? Are you crazy?", 'di makapaniwalang tanong ni Geala and I also asked myself with the same question but I am truly serious in my blabbering. "I am fully aware that your man is the richest among the richest.", sarcastic n'yang sabi at tumango naman ako.
"I know that completely.", I said and tinawanan naman ako ni Michael. "I need something to lure Peter.", I explained and mukang kilala na nila ang gusto kong kalabanin. I could feel their hesitation but we don't know, there's just something na nagko-connect saming apat. Maybe it's because if we join each other's company, we can be the most influential.
"What do you mean exactly?", she asked and I told her the whole plan. From every detail and the outcomes. I have five plans and if none of them work, I'll truly give up this life. They listened attentively and after I said everything, she reacted in a way na expected ko na.
"You are crazy.. Akio will kill you.", bulong ni Geala at mukang hindi makapaniwala sa mga plano ko. I just shrugged and wala naman na akong magagawa kundi ang mauna sa larong 'to. Aki is not here and my plan will work if he does not interfere. I'll ask Kiel and make this work kahit ano ang mangyari.
Since my father had joined them, I am sure that he told everything about me. How ambitious I am, crazy,and could leave everything behind just to save my treasures. Pero little did he know, I've changed and that is because of Aki. I still do not understand how I would do everything for him and if this is enough reason para mag-take risk ako.
I called and emergency meeting sa lahat at bumaba na sa third floor para pumunta sa conference office namin. While walking I called Kiel and told him to come at my office if he is available ng tanghali. Pagdating ko sa meeting room ay halos kumpleto na sila. Mukang inaantay rin nila ang tawag ko at hinihintay ang kapalaran ng kompanya. I sit in the middle at tinignan silang lahat.
"I have a good news and a bad news.", I said and agad silang nagtinginan lahat. "Or company will be saved.", kalmadong sabi ko at mabilis naman silang nagsaya at nagcelebrate. I let them. It's their rights to rejoice, after all. Nang mapansin na hindi nagbago kahit kaunti ang reaksyon ko ay nanahimik sila at hinintay ang susunod kong sasabihin. "The latter is, hindi na ako ang amo n'yo. My company will be sold by a friend of mine and all of you, will be under her.", nang sabihin ko 'yon ay nanahimik ang lahat.
Mukang hindi nila inakalang hahantong ako sa puntong bibitawan ang lahat. I just looked at my nails and nagpatuloy.
"If ya'll received calls from reporters and media, tell them na nabankrupt tayo. It's the easiest reason at hindi na kailangan magpaliwanag. Tell it and you'll be safe. And.. Don't tell anyone about this. This is a secret meeting.", I coldly said to them para malaman nilang seryoso ako sa mga pinagsasasabi ko. I dismissed them at nauna nang lumabas.
Pagdating ko sa office ay hindi na ako nagulat nang makita si Kiel na paikot ikot sa office chair ko. He looks serious kayanaman hindi ko na s'ya binati ng kaswal.
"Don't tell me you also have a plan.", he said and base sa mga salita n'ya, looks like Aki also asked him a favor. I nodded and napahinga naman s'ya ng malala.
I just stand infront of him at inayos ang iilan sa mga gamit ko. "I am planning something outrageous.", I said and hindi naman n'ya ako sinagot. I continued and told him all the things I am plannig to do with Peter.
Napanganga naman s'ya sa huli kong sinabi at napatungo. Matagal s'yang nakatitig sa sahig habang ang ulo ay nakapatong sa magkahawak n'yang kamay na nasa ibabaw ng lamesa ko.Bumulong naman s'ya pero sapat na para marinig ko.
