                                              Balloon's POV

"Alright guys! We're going on a camping trip! Hooray!" Mephone announced.

"How boring." Nickel said.

"Get inside of the truck everyone!" Mephone said.

"I can't wait for this camping trip! I've never been on one!!" Bot said.

"I'm kinda scared for the scary campfire stories haha!" Fan said nervously.

After we arrived, Mephone gave us the rules for this camping trip.

"You guys can choose your partner for going into 9 groups of 2!" He said.

Everyone scrambled into groups, which left me and nickel behind.

"Hey Balloon, wanna be partners?" He said.

"Oh! Sure!" I said.

We went inside of a light blue tent. We set our stuff inside of the tent.

"I'm really excited about this trip!" I said.

"Haha, me too!" He said.

I love whenever Nickel laughs. His laughter is like music to my ears.

"Everyone get your butts over here because we're going canoeing first!" Mephone shouted.

"Oh gosh. He's always so enthusiastic about something dumb." Nickel said.

I shrugged it off and I got out of the tent with Nickel following behind me.

Mephone handed us different colored canoes for us to choose and we settled with the red one.

"Come back when I wave this red flag!" Mephone shouted.

Everyone headed off into the lake full of darkness.

"Guess that's our cue to go." Nickel said.

We both started paddling all the way to the north of the lake.

As we were paddling, I touched the cold lake water. 

"What did you find Balloon?" Nickel asked in curiosity.

"I'm just feeling the cool water." I said.

"Y'know, I've never told anyone this before, but I really enjoy going to lakes." He said.

"You do?" 

"Yeah...but I guess lakes are lame." He said

"I actually think lakes are calming!" 

"Well at least someone agrees with me haha!" He said.

By the time we reached all the way north, Mephone waved the red flag.

"Oh wow, already?" Nickel said.

"I can't believe that much time has passed!"

"Me neither." 

We headed back where Mephone was.

"Welcome back guys! Had fun?" Mephone said.

A mixture of cacophony and "yes" erupted.

"Glad to here that! Let's head back to the campfire!" He said.

"It's now 9PM! Time for spooky stories!"

We got out of the canoes and headed back to the campfire.

"Haha! I'm actually kinda scared..." I said.

"No need to worry! I'll protect you from those raging beasts!" Nickel said jokingly.

I clinged onto him, which made him flinch a bit. (no one saw that edit right💀)

Everyone sat down in a circle, eating smores. Mephone was resting in his cottage thing.

"So who wants to go first?" OJ said.

"I'll go first!" Silver spoon said.

He dramatically turned on his flashlight.

"There was once a woman named La Llorona or known as The weeping woman. La Llorona is the ghost of a mother who once lost her children." "The tale says she wanders near the river, looking for her children. She's said to kidnap children who wander near, as she mistakes them for her own."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Fan screamed.

"Please Fan, you're right next to me..." Test Tube said.

"Hehehe!" Silver spoon laughed mischievously.

"I must say, that was a bit of a spook." Candle said.

"I want to move to Mars now..." Bot said.

"So who will go next?" Silver spoon asked.

"I'm going next!" Nickel said.

"This'll be a good one!" He whispered in my ear.

"Alright! This one is called The Green Ribbon!" He said while turning on his flashlight.

"A man marries his beloved: a beautiful young woman who always wears a green ribbon around her neck. On their wedding night, he asks why. "If I do, you'll be sorry," she says, and goes to sleep."

"Night after night, he keeps asking, but she always gives him the same reply. He begins to go mad with curiosity. Finally, one night, while she's sleeping, he steals the scissors from her sewing box and cuts through the ribbon himself."

"The ribbon falls away... and her head rolls right off her neck and falls to the floor with a sickening thud."

"Hey silver spoon, does that beat yo-"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Silver spoon and Fan screamed.

"FAN!!" Test Tube shouted.

"CAN YOU GUYS SHUTTUP!?" Paintbrush said in anger.

"Uh guys...can we calm down please?" OJ said.

"I'm tireddd." Blueberry said.

"Super scaryy..." Goo said.

"T-T-That wasn't even s-s-scary..." Silver spoon said, still trembling with fear.

"Oh well, I guess it was boring." Nickel said.

Before Silver spoon and Fan screamed in fear, I was holding onto Nickel for dear life. A woman's head falling off her neck?

"Oh, you too Balloon?" Nickel said.

"I'm sorry!" I said while letting go of Nickel.

"It's fine." He said.

Out of nowhere, Mephone appeared.

"I think it's time to stop. It's 10PM already!" He announced.

"And you guys woke me up from my slumber with all of that screaming."

I could still see Silver spoon hugging Fan in absolute terror.

"Anyways, get inside of your tents and drift into slumber!" He said, before disappearing into the darkness.

Everyone went inside of their tents. Me and Nickel also went inside our tent.

"Yawwn...I'm really tired from all of those stories..." I said.

"Same." Nickel said.

We both laid down in the tent. It was a really small tent, so small that both of our shoulders were touching each other.

The stories kept me up though, so I couldn't fall asleep.

I hugged Nickel, who was still half awake.

"Huh?" He asked.

"I can't fall asleep..." I said.

He turned to face me and kissed me.

"N-N-Nickel?" 

"It's...okay to be scared, Balloon."

He cuddled closer to me.

"I love you, Balloon." He whispered.

"I...love you too, Nickel.

We both fell into a slumber, cuddling next to each other.
