7. the first mission

Giyu and Mitsuri arrived back the day before Eri's 3rd birthday party, luckily they got presents for her on the road back from their mission, so they first reported back to Izuku who was glad to see the mission well but he was saddened by the fact more of his family was left, all he had now was Michikatsu, Izumi, Muichiro, Tanjiro and Nezuko. the moment Zenitsu saw Nezuko he was smitten and followed her around like he was a lost puppy, not caring for the fact that she was a hanyo. he would send her to Tamayo to work on a cure since this girl, she's different, Tamayo's progress has been steady, she's figured out how to create non-bound hanyos and saved a dying boy's life, and she figured out how to remove the curses set on them, hopefully with Nezuko's blood a cure could be worked on. Izuku also assigned Tanjiro to the current water-breathing teacher Urodaki and gave him a pair of hanafuda earrings similar to the pair that Tanjiro wore, it was a tradition in their family for anyone who used fire to where them and Tanjiro wore, Izuku saw it fit to give him a memento from his family that they weren't able to give him, Tanjiro cried and hugged Izuku when he got them, Zenitsu would work with the thunder-breathing teacher, after this they were each given a room near each other and settled in as Izuku made preparations for the next day,

It was now December 21st and it was Eri's 3rd birthday, the day started off with Eri running into her father's room and waking him up "Wakey wakey papa it's my birthday" Izuku gently smiled, rubbed her, and kissed the little bump on her head which had started to grow slightly and had a small point meaning it's likely her quirk would manifest within the new year. after that Eri goes to everyone's rooms and wakes them up for breakfast which Izuku is currently making, its chocolate chip pancakes with apples on the side and some applesauce for those who want it, of course, Eri absolutely smothers her pancakes in it, and eats it was a giant smile on her face filling izuku with joy. then was onto her presents, everyone got her so any presents were stacked higher than her, some of her favourite presents were the unicorn plushie that she named Fluffuls which she got from her papa, she got a sapling for an apple tree from Gyomei so she couldn't wait to grow it and eat her very own apples, a flashy headband from Tengen, Touya got her a kitten and a puppy, that will develop a quirk, she named her cat pixie and the dog which Touya named Brutus. The day was filled with fun activities and laughter as izuku took Eri out to different places, first to a fair to play all the games and win the prizes which resulted in Eri walking away with many, many, plushies and toys, after that, they left the toys and home and went to play in a nearby park where Eri could have fun with her friends, her best friend was a boy names, Kota Izumi, he was glad she could make friends although the boy's name made him stop and think about his sister Izumi, he only ever saw her once when she was a baby before he left the family to stop his brother being sent away, although it seems he had the same idea as he left soon after to make sure Izumi didn't suffer the same fate as them, so hopefully she grew up to be a happy and good natured child although being raised by toshinori who knew what would happen, he shook his head he should be focusing on Eri right now it was her birthday Afterall, he was sat next to two people watching over their kids, they were Kota's parents, Mizu and Kiri, he got along quite well with them since Eri got along so well with Kota after a small chat with them izuku noticed the time and it had been a couple of hours so it was time to head home and have dinner he had also prepared candy apples for Eri. the Day ended on a high note with Eri snuggling up to Izuku has he sung a lullaby to her as she yawned and fell asleep "I love you papa" "I love you to my little unicorn" and with that izuku fell asleep with Eri in his arms, 'if only were Daki were here then this would be perfect'

it was now January of the new year which means there were new villains and new hanyos to slay and new people to recruit, speaking of which Izuku recently heard something interesting from Minoe rank slayer that he fought a person with a boar head, and suffered a humiliating loss and was for forced to show him some wind breathing, this interested Izuku so Izuku decided to take Eri with him to see this interesting person. izuku and Eri arrived at the forest to see a man with a boar head riding around a deer waving about dual katanas "Raaaaaaaaaaaaah" Izuku tried getting his attention but when he was ignored he got in the way and knocked out the deer "How dare you take my ride who are you, are you related to that loser I took down earlier" "well he works for me and I would like you to work for me I'm izuku tsugikuni" "why would I join you you're full of weaklings nehahahaha" "well how about we fight" "you stand no chance I am the strongest nehahaha" Inosuke then charged at izuku who effortlessly dodged Inosuke's strikes, it continued like this until izuku flicked Inosuke in the chest sending him into a tree, Inosuke had no chance but to accept defeat, he was completely crushed, "you are very strong I shall allow you the honour of having me in your group nehahaha as long as I get to fight more strong guys like you" "of course there are many more strong fights in the future for you, you'll get to fight extremely strong villains and half demons, we'll even give you more training to get stronger" "yes let's do it take me with you monzoku gachironi" "that's not even close but let's go, and this is my daughter Eri tsugikuni" "hewwo I'm ewi tswugikwuni" "cherry gachironi" "nwo its ewi tswugikuni" "that's what I said cherry gachironi" Eri made a pouty face and shouted "NO ITS EWI TSWUGIKWUNI" Inosuke responded in kind "CHERRY GACHIRONI" "EWI TSWUGIKWUNI ""CHERRY GACHIRONI" "EWI TSWUGIKWUNI ""CHERRY GACHIRONI RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Eri then screamed back at him "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" the two then got into a screaming match with Inosuke passing out in the end unable to keep up with Eri's lung capacity which rivalled the hashira and was likely to even surpass izuku in the coming years. izuku carried back Inosuke and a pouting Eri who was still angry that Inosuke got her name wrong. Izuku helped Inosuke develop his own form called beast breathing he also spent his time challenging the different slayers and going on missions when he wasn't training, Inosuke was also the only one who didn't attend academic lessons because he just resisted, and when they tried they had to strap him down so he was given a pass to just train although he hadn't really met anyone his age yet as he was just running about training and fighting villains most of the time. the training schedule alternated between academic and physical training lessons with the physical training taking more priority this happened for a month then they got a month to go on missions if they were deemed ready if not the training schedule continued,
