Rose Evans's P.O.V

The next day, when I saw Snape come to see Lily and James, he was his usual cold and aloof self. Nothing about him indicated that he had saved my life or that we had shared a moment the previous day. It was as if it had never happened.

As the weeks went by, Snape and I continued to work together; he wanted me to brew with him so he could see if I was competent enough to work with him, but it was different. There was a tension between us that hadn't been there before. Every time we were in close proximity, I could feel his body heat and smell the musky scent of his cologne. It was intoxicating and terrifying at the same time.

One day, while we were brewing a particularly tricky potion, Snape muttered a curse under his breath as he accidentally spilled some of the ingredients. I couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face. He turned to me, his eyes dark and intense. "What's so funny?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous. I could feel my heart racing and my body responding to his proximity with a sudden rush of desire. Without thinking, I leaned in closer, my breath hot against his cheek. "Nothing," I whispered. "I just like it when you get all worked up like that." Snape's eyes flickered with anger and amusement, and I knew I had him right where I wanted him. Of course, I didn't want to do anything to or with him; I just wanted to get something out of him. With a sudden movement, he grabbed me by the waist and pushed me against the wall. "What's with you and pushing me against the wall?", I asked exasperatedly. Snape rolled his eyes and said, "You're bloody annoying, you know that?" I rolled my eyes and said," Snape, did you really shove me into a wall to say that I know I'm gorgeous, but you only had to ask if you wanted to shag".

Snape's expression changed at my words, his eyes narrowing as he took in my words. "You think I want to shag you?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous. I could feel his breath against my skin. Suddenly, he smirked and whispered, "Is that what you want?" My heart was racing faster with every passing second as I looked up at him; my eyes locked with his, then I responded, "No, but I thought I would take pity on you and let me be your first shag." Snape's grip on my waist tightened as His eyes darkened and were challenging. "You think I'm a virgin? Oh, darling, you are very much mistaken. I would say that you just want to get me into your bed," he said teasingly. Oh, please, Snape, You're the last person I would fuck". Snape's face twisted into a malicious grin as he pressed his body closer to mine, his hot breath tickling my ear. "Is that so?" he drawled, his hand sliding down to rest on my hip.

I tried to push away from him, but his grip on me was unforgiving. "Let me go, Snape," I hissed, my cheeks flushed with anger.

"You're wrong," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I hate you.

He suddenly pulled back, slightly laughing, and said, "You thought that I would want to fuck you, the person I hate the most currently?"

"Oh, ha-ha, how funny, Snape; you should receive an award", I said drily. I tried to keep my voice steady, but I could feel anger and embarrassment rising. Snape had a way of making me feel small and insignificant, even when I was trying to stand up for myself.

Snape's laughter stopped, and he leaned in closer to me with a menacing look.

"You know, I do enjoy seeing you squirm," he whispered, his breath hot on my face. "But I have no interest in fucking you. There are much better things I could do with my time."

I felt a shiver run down my spine at his words, and I couldn't help but feel a strange mixture of fear and amusement.

Snape smirked, clearly enjoying my reaction. "But don't worry little one. I won't be messing with you anymore. You're not worth my time."

With that, he turned on his heel and walked away, leaving me standing alone, feeling humiliated and confused. I hated him more than ever, but part of me couldn't help but wonder what those "better things" were that he had mentioned.

Over the next few weeks, I found myself unable to shake off the memory of Snape's words. They haunted me at night, invading my dreams and leaving me feeling agitated and restless during the day.

I tried my best to avoid him, but somehow, he always seemed to be there, lurking around every corner and waiting to pounce on me. Every time he came over to Lily and James's house or every time we worked on a potion together, it felt like there was an unspoken tension between us, a strange magnetic pull that I couldn't explain.

As much as I tried to hate him, there was something about Snape that drew me to him. It was a dangerous attraction, that I knew could only lead to trouble.

Soon the weeks passed by, and as soon as it  began, summer break had come to an end and the new school year was about to begin. Merlin, I wonder what crazy shit is going to happen this year.
