Buck pov

I wake up a few hours later and hear the shower running.

I stay in my room and play on my phone for a while until maddie is done in the shower.

I hear the shower stop and a knock at my door not long after.

"Come in maddie."

The door opens.

"Hey buck good morning what time did you get home?"

"Good morning i got home around 7:30 this morning you were still asleep."

"What time do you work today?"

"Not until later tonight how about you?"

"I work at 1 so ill leave in a couple hours."

"Sounds good maddie."

She leaves my room.

I get out of bed and get clothes for the day.

I leave my room and go into the bathroom.

I get in the shower.

After my shower I go back to my room.

"Buck i made breakfast come eat."

I check my phone and look at the time.

9:47 am

I leave my room and go to the kitchen.

I sit at the island.

Maddie puts a plate in front of me and sits across from me.

"Interesting shift yesterday?" Maddie asks me

"No not really anything interesting happen with yours?"

"Yeah a few interesting calls nothing huge but definitely interesting." Maddie says to me.

"Breakfast was amazing mads."

"Thanks buck."

A few hours later maddie leaves for her shift leaving me alone in the apartment.

~time skip it's now 3:27 am Buck has been working for a few hours now~

We got called to assess a broken femur.

We arrive at the scene and see the person unconscious outside.

Hen and chimney start working on the guy.

They manage to wake him up and start asking him questions

"Sir can you tell me your name?"

"Brad."

"Ok brad can you tell me how this happened?"

"I don't know." Brad says slurring his words.

"Brad are you drunk or intoxicated?" Hen asks

"I dont know."

"Brad did you call 911?"

"No?"

"Brad do you even know what happened?"

"No why am i outside?"

"Brad we got called here by 911 saying that you jumped off of your balcony."

"Why'd i do that?"

"We dont know brad thats what we're trying to figure out." Hen says trying to sound calm but is obviously getting frustrated.

"Were there other people in your house tonight brad?"

"Yeah i think so."

"Buck take you and Eddie and go look for the other people." Bobby instructs.

"On it cap."

Me and Eddie go around to the front of the house and knock on the door.

"LAFD open the door." Eddie calls out.

We got no answer.

Eddie nods at me.

I try the door handle.

Its locked.

I kick down the front door.

We start looking around.

"Hey Eddie i got something here." I call over the radio

Eddie comes up the stairs.

He enters the room.

There's about 4 other people laying there.

We start checking the pulses of each.

All of them rapid but not overly concerning.

We also see about 3 bottles of vodka two empty one half full.

"Two and a half bottles of vodka between 5 people no wonder theyre doing stupid things someone was bound to end up like this." Eddie comments.

"Hey cap we got 4 other victims upstairs all 4 male passed out but there is a pulse on all of them pulse is 110 bpm. There are also two empty vodka bottles and one half drank." I call out over the radio.

"Thanks buck." Bobby calls over the radio back to me.

"Dispatch this is captain Nash 118 we need additional RA units to 334 lemondrop road we have 4 other male victims unconscious but alive pulse is 110 bpm all 4 are intoxicated."

"Sending additional units now captain Nash." I hear my sisters voice over the radio.

"Cap should we stay here or come back down?" I radio.

"You could stay there in case they start waking up. Is there by chance a sliding door with a balcony in the room you're in buck?" Bobby radios back.

"Yeah why cap?"

"Because brad jumped off of that balcony him and his buddies were playing truth or dare and he got dared to jump."

Eventually the additional RA units come and we all go back to the station.
