At this point, Amelia and I were sitting in the in this hotel room waiting for Mariah to get back so we could hear about this meeting and I was getting anxious because she's been gone for some hours now. The meeting was for 4:30 and it's after 11. What the hell?
"Where is she? And she's not even answering our texts or calls, something is wrong. You think we should call her again?"
"No, she's fine. Think positive thoughts, she's okay." I said
Just then, the door opened and we heard laughing and voices.
"Oh my God, that was funny. Oh shh, my friends might be sleep."
"Naw bitch, we wide awake. Where the fuck you been ma'am?!" I spoke as I stood up with my arms folded across my chest
"I'm sorry y'all. I was just out with them and we started having way too much fun going to different studios and clubs and stuff. But I'm okay, my phone died." Mariah says
"Oh. Well who's he?" Amelia says
"That's E Sudd, he's gonna be DJ'ing the tour." Mariah says
"Hello. How y'all doing?"
"I'm good. Where y'all went? To a Kevin Hart concert?" I asked
I was still mad because bitch, you had us worried!
"No, I wish." Mariah giggled
"Megan and Amelia? Right?" Lloyd spoke
"Yeah." Amelia nodded
"Nice to see y'all again." He spoke
"You too."
"Oh and this is Ashanti. She's gonna be on the tour as well." Mariah spoke
"Hi, it's nice to meet y'all. You guys are cute!" Ashanti says
"Oh my God! It's really her." I said in shock
"I'm dying." Amelia says before passing out
"Is she okay?" B asks
"Yeah, she's fine. She'll be okay." I said
"Dammit." Mariah said while walking and sitting her stuff down
"You need some ice or something? Like she good or we need to call and ambulance?" Lloyd asks
"No, she's fine." Mariah says before shaking Amelia causing her to start waking up
"Huh? What happened?" Amelia asks
"Bitch you passed out after meeting Ashanti. Are you okay?" I spoke
"I'm fine." Amelia says
"Is your head okay? Because you hit that mufucka hard. Big head ass." B spoke
"Fuck you!" Amelia said
"You the one got the head of a milk jug." B spoke
"Okay and you the one got lips that look like a brownie. Your point brownie lips?" Amelia says
"I'm so sorry about them." Mariah says
"Nah, it's okay. But um, I gotta run so I'mma hit y'all in a couple of days and we'll make up that list and what not."
"Okay, bye. Thanks E Sudd." Mariah spoke
"No problem mama. Y'all stay safe. It was nice meeting you ladies."
"Bye." I said
"Bye bye." Amelia waved
After that, everybody else left too and it was just the 3 of us so we all hopped on the bed and Mariah started telling us everything. Once she was done, I wanted to give Birdman a piece of my mind.
"Okay but why is he so mad to the point where he had to call you a bitch though? What's his problem?" I said
"Right, like what?" Amelia said
"I swear! Like he too fucking sassy. I'm sorry, but he should've been born a girl." Mariah said
"I promise if he say anything to you on that tour, you better call us and I will be on the first flight to come beat his ass!" Amelia said
"What you mean? Y'all not coming with me?" Mariah asks
"Well you didn't ask us to." I said
"Welp. Would you ladies do me the honor of accompanying me on this tour?" Mariah says
"Why yes dah'ling." I said in a goofy English accent
"Of course me Lord. I'd be honored." Amelia said causing us all to laugh
"No seriously though, I'm gonna get both of y'all a big ass house and some nice vehicles so we can all be living in style. I wouldn't be here without y'all love and support. I love y'all." Mariah says
"Awe! I love you too babe." I said
"Yeah, I love you too." Amelia said
"Group hug!" I said
We all hugged and it was so good to see my girl doing good the way she is. Because she's found something she's talented in and that she likes so it only makes sense for her to pursue this.
"So what are you gonna be wearing? Like what's the wardrobe situation?" Amelia asks
"I don't know. I didn't ask all of that, but I think they'll have some stuff set up for all the performing artists and everything." Mariah says
"Yeah, they should. Because if not, it's a bullshit ass tour." I said
"That's facts and they better not try to fuck you out of your money or nothing like that because they love trying to take advantage of new artists and shit and that's not fair. They better not." Amelia says
"Period because I'll stomp a hoe out quick. My bitch got people to feed hoe and the first person is herself! Not this one." I said causing Mariah to laugh
"We should go get our nails done tomorrow before we leave." Mariah says
"That sounds nice, but I'm treating. I got a lil money stacked up." I said
"Okay!" Mariah said
After talking for a little while, Mariah got up and went to clean herself up and change clothes while Amelia and I got comfortable in bed. These hotel beds be comfortable as shit though, oh my goodness, I can get used to this hotel lifestyle. I'm just so proud of my girl for doing this damn music thing. I mean she started with one verse and hook and now she got super big names hitting her line tryna get features and all that. Mariah's taking this music game by storm and I am soooo freaking happy for her! I know for a fact she'll do so many great things. My girl is gonna go far and no matter what, I'm gonna be there to support her.
