Brian and I were riding back to the house and I was kinda mad that we couldn't get any info on my father's bank info, but I wasn't trippin'. We were in the car vibing to some Chris Brown and Jamie Foxx right now.
"Okay! I feel this song. The lyrics are filthy though." Brian says causing me to laugh
"Yeah, but I love Chris Brown. So it's fine." I said
"I guess you're correct there partner." Brian chuckled
"Brian, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, go ahead." He spoke while turning the radio off
"You ever thought somebody close to you could be involved with this case?" I asked
"Frank?" He says with one eyebrow raised as he looked over at me
I swear this motherfucker reads my mind every single time. I don't know why, but I'm questioning everybody at this point.
"Yeah, but I don't want him to be accused and then he's innocent." I said
"No no, I understand. But Frank had seriously been giving me bad vibes lately. Like when we were at your performance, he was literally on the phone damn near the whole time. Then boom, Malcolm pops up." Brian says
"Yeah, that's kinda weird." I said
"Maybe we're both just paranoid. But it's some other stuff I think you should know too." Brian says as we parked in my driveway
"Oh Lord. Let it wait a few hours. I wanna party." I said
"Okay, have at it." Brian chuckled as we got out the car
I went inside the house and heard music, laughter, and a bunch of female voices. So I walked further into the house and saw Jessica, Tasha, some other girls, Amelia and Megan, and of course all the guys. What was funny to me though was the way Durk was staring at these girls.
"What's going on?" I asked
"I don't know, as him." Man Man pointed to Kentrell
"It wasn't even him for real. It was this bitch." Megan says as she pointed at Tasha
"No, I didn't do this!" Tasha says
"They yo friends." Amelia spoke
"So what happened at the bank?" Von asks as he fiddled with his shoes
"Oh yeah, we didn't get anything useful. But I am about to celebrate." I said
"That's what I'm talking about." Quando spoke
"What are we celebrating with?" Malcolm smiles
"I said I, meaning me, by myself." I said
"Lemme guess, you finna go dance in the mirror while you running yo bathwater?" Kd said
"You in my business? Don't do that." I said
"I knew it." Kd laughed
I went upstairs and took a nice hot shower before getting out and putting on some lotion. I got dressed in a jogging suit with some red tennis shoes👇🏾
