ATTICUS HEAD was a mess after Khaila told her that it was her little brother. A man like that? His body was so close to his body type, same height… It was hard for him to notice that they're siblings. Blood related.

Nahihiya siya sa naisip niya.

What made him think that he was her boyfriend… It's that guy's action. He's too territorial.

Pinaikot niya ang ballpen sa mga daliri at mariin na pumikit.

That guy… He purposely caught him off guard and asked him to play volleyball with him. Ang akala niya noon ay galit ito sa kanya dahil panay ang sunod at papansin ni Khaila sa kanya. Kaya sa bawat tira na pinapakawalan nito ay halos mabali ang braso niya.

Now, he understands why he's madly hitting the ball.

Was he mad because he rejected his sister?

That's… petty?

"Lalim, sir!" Lhey knocked on his table.

There's really one person— no matter how good your day was— had the ability to ruin the mood.

Atticus sighed. "Is it true? Sigurado ako na may alam ka. Tsismoso ka, e."

Nalukot ang mukha ni Lhey, "True? Ang alin?"

"That Khaila and that guy is… blood related?" Tumaas ang kilay ni Atticus nang unti-unti na lumiwanag ang mukha ng kaibigan niya.

"Oo naman, sir. Magkapatid sila, kambal ni Ky 'yung isa pang maganda, si Kyrstal?"

"The clingy one?" maarte na tanong niya.

"Yes, she's clingy." Tumatawa na sagot nito. "Bakit pala?"

"I thought he was…" Hindi niya natuloy ang sasabihin.

"Hindi ko ba nasabi sayo? Kalaro mo siya noong nakaraan lang ah?" Bahagya na sumandal si Lhey sa lamesa niya. His hand was gripping the edge of the table.

"Hindi. Wala kang sinabi sa akin." Atticus flatly answered him.

Kung may sinabi ito sa kanya, hindi sana naging magaspang ang pakikitungo niya sa dalaga.

"Tinawag kasi ako sa computer lab. noon! Intense ng laban niyo, may pasa ka pa oh!" Itinuro nito ang braso niya.

It was a fair warning that he'll do something that guy  won't like, hindi lang pasa galing sa volleyball ang matitikman niya. As if he'll do something. Hindi pa rin naman siya interesado…

Atticus was shy. The reason why he's avoiding her was because of the thought of her having a boyfriend, and it turns out that it was her little brother all along. The only reason he has now to avoid the woman… was to protect himself.

Simula nang malaman ni Atticus na single ito. He started greeting her back, kapag nakasalubong sila sa daan o kaya naman ay sa faculty.

And with those small interactions, Atticus started to notice how lovely her personality was. She was raised in a great environment, she loves sharing words of God, and she loves taking care of kids. Palagi rin ito na may bitbit na paper bags, at kapag tinanong kung ano ang laman noon, her answer was always, 'para sa mga bata.'

The school have its own cafeteria. Libre ang mga pagkain doon para sa mga estudyante nila but she's bringing foods na hindi available sa cafeteria. In short, the kinds of food that only rich people could afford.

"Sir! Habol na lang po kami… Tatapusin ko po, promise!" His student raised her right hand.

He chuckled softly. "Sure, hatid mo na lang sa faculty."
