'Are there still as many people dying?'

Jeongin briefly closed his eyes to concentrate.

'You somehow managed to influence the seasons in the upper world?'

'Yeah' Felix breathed.

'That's.. impressive'

His eyes fluttered open, meeting Felix's dark ones.

'Very impressive'

'Thank you. But did it help any?'

The older sighed.

'A little bit?'

'What does that mean?'

'Well, it's still hard for them but they can fight'

'They can grow crops again?'

'Yeah, some of them, some time of the year'

Felix nodded.

'I wish I could do more'

'You already did more than what should be possible'

'Less people die?'

'Less people die. More people hope'

They looked at each other for a long time.

'You are hope, Felix'

The younger swallowed.

'Not just for Minho. For everyone'

'I'm sorry, Jeongin'

'Why?'

'Because of Minho'

Jeongin slightly shook his head, not understanding.

The blonde looked down at his hands, then back up to meet the other's dark gaze.

'Because he is in love with me. And not you. Even though you two are way closer, you know him so much longer-'

The black haired smiled sadly.

'Oh, Felix, he's so much better off with you'

'You make it sound like we're married'

'Even if you're not, it's still better for him to be in love with you than with me'

'I'm sure it's nice to be in love with you'

Jeongin huffed at Felix's huge eyes.

Slightly embarrassed about what he just said, the younger couldn't hold Jeongin's gaze, so he looked back down onto his hands.

'I'm still sorry' he mumbled.

'Felix, hey. Please understand. I'm thankful for my friendship with him. It's the best thing that he could give me, and I depend more on it than on him having feelings for me'

'I never understood your friendship'

'Neither do we. But we need each other'

'But you do want more'

'Not more. Maybe something differently. Yet not more, never that. I have so much already. You know I can be somewhat of a problematic character'

'I didn't notice at all' he said ironically.

Jeongin nodded.

'And even though I'm an asshole he's stayed with me all that time. Our friendship is weird but it works and I've got nothing that I'm more thankful for. I wouldn't let my feelings ruin that. Not ever'

'You're not a bad person, Jeongin'

'I destroyed your life just because I wanted my crush to be happy'
