The past couple of days, Elijah had been moving around the woods and cleaning up the numerous bodies that Klaus would leave behind.
I had been accompanying Elijah during the day and then at night he would drop me off at the nearest motel so that I could sleep and eat, whilst he continued to follow after Klaus.
Currently, it was the third day that Elijah and I had been following after Klaus. When we found him that morning, I had sat down on the ground next to the wolf who was curled up sleeping on the floor and started running my hands through his fur.
From beside me, Elijah watched with a cautious look incase his brother suddenly decided to wake up and attack me. But I knew that wouldn't happen.
The wolf opened its eyes once it realised I was petting it before quickly turning its head towards me defensively but soon relaxed once he realised that it was me. Klaus happily stood up, trotting closer to me, before laying down by my side, resting his head on my lap whilst he shoots Elijah and almost smug grin.
"How much longer do you think he's going to stay in wolf form for?" I ask Elijah who had now taken a seat on the ground next to me, despite my warnings that he would dirty his suit, he had sat down anyway.
"Not much longer I would assume, my dear" Elijah says as he picks up one of my hands and starts lightly drawing patterns on it, smirking slightly when he saw the glare the wolf was giving him for taking away my attention.
