"Olivia has never steered us wrong. If she says it'll work, I trust her." Director Wong says
"I do, too." Chief Baker says
"I hope for everyone's sake that you're both right." Olivia says
"When can you be ready, Dr. Kullersen?" Director Wong asks
"First light." Mom says
"Then you drop in the probe at dawn." Director Wong says
"Uh-uh. We drop in the probe at dawn." Chief Baker says
"Okay, everyone. Back to work. We have a mission to plan." Director Wong says
"Fingers crossed." Sledkin says
Everyone starts to leave.
"Okay, this is crazy. Our folks are gonna blow up the fissure! How is that a good idea?" D'Angelo asks
"Tom, this is crazy." Jun says
"If my mom says it's the only way to save ICARIS, it's the only way." Tom says
"Yeah. Come on. We gotta go check on the dragons." I said
We all began to leave but Tom and I stopped to listen to mom and Sledkin's conversation.
"Sledkin. I figured you'd show up eventually. You always loved the spotlight." Mom says
"This isn't about me, Kullersen. We're not in college anymore, competing for lab time, dreaming of winning the Vetlesen Prize. This is about ICARIS falling into the fissure, and all the Rakke Corporation's money with it. This is about the people who will die, and all the lawsuits that will follow." Sledkin explains
"The people are my only concern." Mom says
"You work for the company now. It should all be your concern." Sledkin says before walking away.
Mom sighs and Tom and hold our hands out for a fist bump.
"You got this mom." Tom says
"Yeah, don't let Sledkin get to you." I said
Mom fist bumps both of us.
"Thanks, kiddos." Mom says
Tom and I wave goodbye and leave with our friends.

We make it to the dragons' lair and started heading down.
"Plowhorn!" D'Angelo calls out.
"Feathers!" Alex calls out.
"Wu! Wei!" Jun calls out.
We climbed down to the bottom to see a pile of rocks and stalagmites
"Whoa.... The earthquake do that?" D'Angelo questions
